You can be fired for almost anything that isn't explicitly prohibited by law (i.e. racial discrimination). Employment is "at will" and employers can fire you because their provider NCNS'ed them, if they so choose.

Definitely hot... and I have seen hotter in the military, Federal government, etc. However, I'd give her a 10 anyway ;-)

Check out the story that is linked below.  A woman in New York says she was fired from a job at a bank for being too hot!

Looking at her photos, if I lived in the area, I would open an account at her branch, and go there and cash a $5 check every day!

(After reading the story, click on the "PHOTOS: TOO HOT FOR CITIBANK" that is in the story.)

I wonder, now that she is out of a job, will she be providing?

one side to the story I guess -- I've seen girls twice as hot as her in plenty of fortune 500 companies, no biggie.

You won't find many women in the private sector (not an actress or singer or porn star) who look significantly better than this banker chick.

Unless you just have a blonde fetish, this chick is about as hot as it gets in the real world.

Lol she is super hot tho..... those people at her job excuse my slang seem like "haters".

I love that lame excuse...the males could not handle their libidos..really. Then they should have left. Good Lord, now a lady can be penalized for being too hot.

They probably propositioned her and got rejected and this is payback...lovely...;(

Just my observation and who really knows...none of us were there.Maybe she was not a good employee.

exactly..... even if she wore a bag...can't hide that body and she shouldn't have to.

At my last corporate gig I had a female SVP file sexual harrasement complain against me

She claimed that i make her uncomfortable with the way i dress

I did dress same way as other women in the office .. but after that literally had HR advise me on which sweaters i could no longer wear to work.

By the way, official dress code at the company was:

"no torn jeans and no tank tops"

Lina

Happens to me all the time.  Ba-da-dum-dum-dum.

Thank you; i'll be here all week!!!!!!!!!!!

Between eschewing the presence of such a nice person to work around, and painting a big bright sex harrasment suit bulls eye on their butts, its clear the the collective IQ of this industry hovers around the double digits.

She would be welcome in my office any day, and torn jeans are fine.

Nor should they.  When this all washes out, we'll learn that she was fired for an entirely different reason, probably incompetence.  People don't get fired for being too sexy, for cryin'out loud.

She can sue all she wants.  Even if their reason for terminating her was that she was a distraction, as far as I know, beauty and sexiness are not protected classes.  She has no case.

Besides that, I've seen many hotter women working in Fortune 500 companies and even some of the local branches of smaller banks have some hotties, too.

This story ain't what it professes to be, I can promise you that.

was dressing too provocatively, they would have warned her to tone it down. If she refused, they were within their rights to terminate her.

She may or may not have a case. It may depend on what she was told by the supervisors and how she was told.
I would not be surprised if citibank settles the case just to avoid further publicity.
I would also not be surprised if she got the job because she was "hot".
Citibank cited disciplinary problems and poor performance as the reason for her dismissal.

In our litigious society an employer can can be sued for firing an ugly or fat employee just as easily.

Yep. It must be tough having the males undressing you with their eyes, and the fat female employees hating you for looking good.
I have the perfect job for her.

yeah, the fools just didn't realize she would be good for business, luring in the Gents to make a deposit ... whats wrong with that?
