At least two women have been placed in harms way.  I would like to understand why someone who strangles and slaps woman on the face and body would be allowed to utilize any site.

TER should take an active response to this situation.  Everyone bears some responsibility when known actions have occurred and ignored.  He should be banned from the site and proper notifications (if appropriate) should be made to the appropriate authorities.  Also Miami Companions bears alot of responsibility in making sure that their ladies (and patrons) are safe and protected (to the extent possible) from harm.

Here in SD, LE has provided us with a phone number we can use just for this type of deal. What area are you in? Maybe they have something like that for you ladies there. After all, they don't care that you are escorting when it comes to REAL crimes and threats. They want these bastards, too!

Post an email address so you can have people email you for his
full information.  I would set up an email on hotmail or yahoo
specifically for this purpose.  Don't use TER since it is
limited to VIP members (among other reasons).

Also, I would report him to the police.  Perhaps back channel
sedona for some info on how the SD police line works.

This jerk is using fear as a tool & your weapon is your brain.  Use it before he tries it on another provider.  Since I don't know your web site perhaps there is something that he sees when he searches the sites that he saw on yours.  Maybe providers should add something like "Wing Chung" in the corner that the average hobbiest won't notice but when his Negative Energy is used against him well it's a very bad day for the jerk.

However, let's get this info out there. Anything at all that's helpful. I suggest contacting me here, and CiCi to cover PHX.

I guess, if you are going to bash the way TER is run, you should really do it under your own username instead of hiding behind an alias.

Next, you and the other provider sent emails to us demanding this person be banned, insisting that this person will become dangerous, that TER will be responsible if people get hurt.  Those are HUGE accusations.  

I really need to think about what precedent we are setting by banning users of TER because a provider says someone is very aggressive and may seriously harm someone one day.  

Next questions would be, does it make a difference if he is banned?  Does being banned magically make someone safer or less likely to do harm in the future?  I would personally like to be able to track this person under his username.

What are your thoughts?

In my opinion, a person should be banned from TER if the evidence from two or three providers establishes a pattern of abusive behavior. As I have always tried to teach my children, there is a consequence to every action.

Just to muddy the waters, I would contrast the current situation to the recent one on the Twin Cities board where the hobbyist in question "came clean" with an acceptable explanation to the accusations that were made against him.

Where do you draw the line? Not an easy question, but abusive hobbyists should not be able to reap the benefits of TER, in my opinion.

to know who these people are, what their relationships (if any) were like with each other, etc. People can always make accusations, but are they true? However, I get the strong feeling that her complaint is logical and truthful, if that's what happened. I feel for her and YES I do think any website should at least investigate the occurence. Hear both sides of the stories. Allow both of them to speak up. I don't think TER should be responsible for what happened, but I certainly wouldn't want to them to allow such creeps on the board either. All in all, I think it's a matter for the police.

Thank you Staff for being a voice of reason. TER is for us - the men - not the providers. We are the ones who use it to make sure that the providors we are going to pay will live up to our expectations. If one of us has an experience that is what we might call "outside the norm" then so what? If the providor didn't like it and feels like she was assualted then she can call the police and press charges. It's not up to TER to police the reviews for them. In any case slapping can definately be part of a session. There are plenty of providors who are fine with that. If you aren't then stop the session and kick him out. If he posts his review and fails to mention that then you can call him out for posting a false review.

And you guys who are so obviously trying to get on some of these providors' good sides by always agreeing with them should grow a pair of balls.

I do see Staff's point of keeping this slime bucket around and him being as "visable" as possible to staff and moderators as it would be very easy in resurfacing again with a new TER ID...
Also,Frankie's suggestions from the providers perspective seem well advised.Providers should "back channel" each other in the affected locations.

I still cast my vote for a TER community tar and feathering.

I had originally posted a response to his comments about slapping being part of a session, etc. but being the lilly livered chicken I am, pulled it.

But I do take offense at the comment about kissing up to the providers.

You, me and several others are adament in our support and backing of the ladies here. And that will never cease.
If more of the guys would stand up for the gals, maybe there would be fewer of his type around.

Super & those with your mind set listen up. This Lady is a well respected member of the TER community. I can tell you from long experience this woman isn't going to cry wolf for no reason
& she's not a whiner. She never talks about her clients so when she brought this to my attention I knew it was important & serious. Slapping around isn't an option in my mind but in this case repeated throttlings were involved.

Unfortunately I don't know if a TER ban would stop this gent but perhaps it would make him think twice.

I realize that this puts you in a very difficult position.  That you are running a business, and that you have to ask what action could help or hurt your business here.  I also know that you have much better information on your market than I do.  Many guys in that market will feel betrayed if all of a member's postings can be censored due to providers' complaints about him.  It sets a disturbing precedent, and I'm uncomfortable with that, too.  

However, ask yourself this: what motivates a man to abuse a provider and then post a false review about it?  Most sessions are unreviewed, you know. It would be far easier for him to write no review, wouldn't it?  He  must be getting some extra pleasure from doing this, now. If he's writing false reviews, it must be a way for him to insult her further, and to tell her how powerless she is. Perhaps also  he feels powerful manipulating "the system" to humiliate.    

TER has no control over whether this guy is going to get better, stay the same, or get worse.  But that's not the point.  After the forewarning you've had, if he does get worse, you don't want to be found tied to his gonads at the crime scene.  Suppose, worse case scenario, he ends up with a body count, providers or non-providers.  The family is distraught and angry.  They want to sue somebody.  Lawsuits tend to follow the money.  It won't take a great lawyer to find TER, and find that you had enough information to know that he was manipulating you to heighten his own pleasure.

And, if it goes to trial, you're probably going have at least six women on the jury.  They will all hear how some guy used TER Reviews to insult and humiliate, and they will get and understand the insults right away.  No matter who they are, housewives, providers, nuns or grandmothers, they will vote against you as a block.  Good luck with the rest of the jury.

Besides the major reason I've given you here, I have a minor, personal reason for wanting you to have a procedure regarding this.  I don't feel as motivated to read reviews when the staff has been told, by several providers, that a guy is writing false reviews.  There are a lot of porn sites on the internet.

Maybe I missed it but I went back and tried to find a link to a review and couldn't. Where did you read this?

Since all it takes is an email address to register with TER, I don't see banning as a good solution. He could very easily register with a new name and the cycle would start all over again.

It is better to be informed than misinformed. As was previously posted, backchannel other providers and let them know what is going on. At least then, they will know.

Although I posted that it's the police's jurisdiction not TER's, I also posted that no website should support people like this. But I was also objective in the post. And I disagree with you that TER should only cater to men. If that's true, then why am I paying for an executive member also? Plus, we can also see reviewers posts and see just how vulgar a person they are. We, too, have the right to choose who we see.

The safest way to get rid of this guy is for the providers having these problems to give the rest of us (in private) his full name and phone number/email address. That way, if we check on his references, he has to use his real name and we'll know about it after checking his work number and with a provider he's already seen. Just my .02

This man's actions against a providers will simply poison the well for all involved.  

It's not in my interest to have this guy posting his fictions on Erotic Review, or using the reviews simply to insult.  

As for balls, you apparently have a different use for yours than I do for mine.  I won't use them to put providers beneath me and remind them constantly that they are there.  Balls have better uses, you know.
