There is an undeniable shift towards an acceptance of bigger/heavier providers, and a tilt towards older/grayer ladies. (This was unheard of, and NOT the case as recently as 3 years ago).

Is this due to demographics-----(hobbyists and providers both getting older/fatter/rounder because of the baby boomer's aging population)?  

Or, are hobbyists these days seeing more mature, and considerably larger ladies as a desireable option  versus spinners, Playboy models, and stripper types?    BTW, I am not a larger or older lady!

when i actually like providers who are not "virgin" and are sort of, well, curvy, but with muscle in the mix.

Honestly, I don't think it is a market trend at all, it's just a "board trend".
From what I can tell, the young, cute, tan little spinner girls are still in high demand.

First, it's no secret, women reach their sexual peaks later in life than men.  In general, the older women have more capacity to enjoy the work.  As one former escort wrote, when a 19-year old woman gets into this, it's like they're having sex with old men.  It's not something that's very natural to them.

When women get into their mid-thirties and forties though, they then know how men felt in their teens.  They have enthusiasm, and furthermore, they have more daring, verve, expertise and imagination about it.  You could see it in their eyes, and it's wonderful.  

Since this is true, one thing might be that escorts now might be inclined to stay in the business longer.  I believe the internet gives the profession some added safety; it gives it a nationwide community.  Women aren't as lonely in it.  They don't burn out as fast.  Since they've reached their sexual peak, with all the other stresses lessened, they are staying in for more than say, 3 years.  

How common would it have been before the internet for a woman to do this for 16 years?  

Moreover, some guys may be turned on by younger, slimmer ladies, but I believe it's not as large a percentage as one would think.  When guys actually communicate about it, they find that this is not a majority.  At least not for guys older than 35.  

I find a lot of women attractive for different reasons.  There's nothing wrong with a very slim women with good proportions.  It wouldn't be the only body type I'd find attractive.  However, when I recently took a college class, and I was in a room with women less than half my age, I was surprised that I didn't find most every one of them attractive.  There was just something missing with them.

I haven't really had what I would consider a BBW.  (Not to say I won't.  There are a few I would love to meet.)  However, I do love larger breasts.  That would usually eliminate spinners.  I think it does for many guys.

I suspect that hobbyists' demographics is (are?) a factor.  I'm older, grayer, carrying an extra 20lbs, and have more time and $$ for the hobby now compared to where I was 10 or 15 years ago.  I am attracted to 'mature' ladies of all kinds/shapes, they usually have healthy sensual openness and we share life experiences. Every since I can remember I've loved the more mature and natural woman, now that I am an older hobbyist I still love them. Nothing wrong with younger but mature has always been more interesting.
