Singers dry humping in a public arena is ok, but a lap dance in an adults only club is not. Man are things backwards or what! If the military is having a problem with disipline it ain't because of lap dances!

Yeah...this is yet another example of the reactionary discipline that was so common when I was in the Navy.  The problem isn't lap dancing, it's crimes like rape and assault that make international headlines and international headaches for the brass.  Unfortunately, the areas surrounding clubs are where most of the young soldiers go for their off time...they drink...and drunk soldiers/sailors/airmen/Marines are prime targets (and sadly, often perpetrators) for rape and assault.  So, rather than policing the areas more effectively, educating the troops on the hazards of partying too hard, and working with the local community to improve relations, the de facto blame gets placed on the lap dancers.
