TER General Board

Ladies safety is important but so is discretion for both parties.

I completely understand the safety issue for ladies, as who wants to meet with a potential lunatic or LE.

However, when it comes to providing information, the guys should remember to only provide what you are comfortable with.  I NEVER EVER provide work information (company, phone numer, etc.).  I had a bad experience once and it effects my discretion.

It is a balancing act.

I am a member of a hobbyist/provider reference service in the Upper Midwest.

The recent escort scandel involving New York's former Governor Spitzer sparked an interesting discussion on one of our men's forum boards.  The discussion pertained to the information that is shared between providers during the screening processes.

The female administrator of the reference service indicated that providers are interested in three concerns as they share information about clients.  The three concerns are:  (1) Are they "safe" to see? (2) How do they "handle" the donation? (3) Are there body type (excessive weight or endowment) issues?  The administrator stated that the (if known) social status or occupation of the client is not discussed among providers.

I would appreciate any provider input regarding the concerns they may have about hobbyists during the screening processes.  Is the above information supplied by the administrator accurate?  Did the administrator fail to mention anything that is discussed during screening?  Thank You!!!

This is not a good question to ask! Just think first.

We dont' care who you are or what you do.
We are not marrying you and will most likely never see you again. So what would we care whether your a Construction worker or a Mayor?

We only care that you will DO us righ and
that we bring the right size condoms.

I have found however, that most ladies concentrate on number one.  Are they safe?
Did they request anything out of the ordinary?

I have asked several times providers who were being used as a reference about endowment issues and hardly ever get an answer.

I am not sure why.
It would be nice to have a heads up, no pun intended.

Most gents are about the same size anyway but there are a few who have special needs in the condom department.

Typically I ask if they are clean, Ed drug users, on the large side, if boundaries are respected and they have a good attitude towards women in general. Nothing else matters to me but those things.

because you aren't going to get them and if you do...they won't be good.

What would YOU like to know that would make you feel safe?
I for one fully agree with the above posts.

...to bring the Magnum size condoms.  Important info for anyone whose ever tried to slide an 8 lb salami into a 5 lb bag at the deli..

Do you include your TER handle in your screening info, just to make sure they know it's you?

;)

using an alias...we go over this All the time...who are you? Why should anyone tell you anything? Its rediculiuos.

anytime your name is in a database, you want to make sure that the person or organization that has that database is operating within legal boundaries. ter has a team of attorneys that ensure compliance even though their database is stored in the netherlands, so i am comfortable giving them my credit card info.

if you associate with someone who you believe is engaging in illegal activities, you want to make sure they dont have a database with your name in it.

on a personal level, i dont keep records. if that means i cant give you a reference, i'm sorry but if i wanted paperwork, i'd get a job.

so i dont think the issue is so much 'what' information is shared as it is 'who' has it.

truthfully i cant figure out your question. how can a female administrator answer something on a men's forum.

and what does the sharing of information between providers have to do with spitzer ?

sorry if i didnt answer your question properly
