I am wondering how some of you gentlemen really view this holiday and wonder if you want to share with stories of your own? Thank you in advance

try to meet a nice lady for a romantic Valentine's Day encounter.

I have had a few very nice encounters on Valentine's Day and I am hoping this year will bring me another.

I posted the post at the link below to find my special lady.

I haven't made a decision yet for this year, so there is still time to get in on the offer.

I hope you all find happiness this Valentine's Day.

I've never planned it with a pro, and hope to not have to, but in the civvie world:

I do try to make it special, but I hope it is because of the romantic things we do together. If the girl is more concerned about gifts than having fun, then I bolt. Christmas was just a few weeks ago.

Once a girl actually gave me a list of what jewelry she likes, what color, the brand of chocolate, and what restaurants she wanted to go to. Some guys may find it helpful, I thought it was tacky for a relationship that hadn't been going that long.

Everyday is Valentines Day to me.  I am extending my offer of eternal love to ladies that are NOT just incestuous identical twins.  That's right, for a limited time only, I am available for to celebrate Valentines Day on any of 364 (365 in this leap year) days other than February 14.  That's 364/5 times the fun over guys that buy a chocolate box and flowers one day outta the year.  What a deal I am!  If you respond now, I will include an interruptive skyclad dance celebrating the Goddess.  My money is limited, but not my imagination.  There's only a few more days to Valentine's Day.  After that, the rest of the years is all our's!

Aren't you lucky?!

When I am elected president, one of the first bills I'll send to Congress will be to make the day a national holiday with vouchers to be sent out to everyone to use as they see fit to celebrate in style (good enough for at least a two hour session with your favorite provider).

It will also be moved to the second Monday in February to make it a three day weekend so we can really celebrate properly.

Typically I spend Valentine's with a group of friends. We have dinner and drinks and pick up on hot boys. :) It's not that different from our weekends, really. hehe.

by the greeting card industry to raise sales after the holiday season and before mother's day.

Like Christmas, it's been commercialized and it's true meaning lost.

I think its terrible . Maybe because I only associate one or two of them with actual happiness. Generally, it's miserable for those of us that remain single.

To me...

Valentine's Day is a piece of crap, just waiting for the toilet to be flushed.

1. Created by florists and the Greeting card companies to make billions of dollars.

2. I got dumped on Valentine's Day by a woman I was about to propose to after 3 years of her telling me she loved me and that she had never been treated as well by anyone she had ever been with.

3. It is just another day of the year.

oh well.. someday someone might just prove to me that I am wrong.
