I'm cant even begin to fathom this, and his 15 year old son witnessed his dad decapitating his mom.  This absolutely horrifies me.  This is just so sad.

And then there was this article, I have no idea what Google Street View, I'm assuming, its something like Mapquest

I agree with the comments of the CBSNews Legal Correspondent.

...except she only cut off the Little Head.

It's different...because he CUT HER FREAKING HEAD OFF!

It's not an exchange of words, blows, or things being thrown across the room. All of which are "domestic violence".

He....cut....her head...off her body.

I'd say that's a tad different than the norm.

Which would explain why he thinks cheating is a capital offense.

People (men and women) are killed all the time by their spouses, or their children by their parents, etc.

Yes, decapitation is a bit gruesome, but what really is the difference with a child seeing this as compared to someone beating their spouse with some object until they are either hospitalized or dead?

Why doesn't somebody get worked up over THAT? When people kill in domestic violence situations it has usually been going on for a long time, but we only cry foul when they get their head cut off? Please.

I always thought you were smart enough to know exactly how dense they are.  :)

last 2 or 3 years in high school. Luckily, my Mom filed for divorce before one of them killed the other. Domestic violence in any form is a serious matter as far as I'm concerned.

if you cheat on your spouse you deserve what you get. I have no respect for anyone that cheats on their SO. If you feel like cheating get a divorce and walk away. This goes for both the men and the women. I know you people will bitch and moan about my opinion but I have a right to it and stick by my statement.

I too have no respect for cheating spouses, but chopping off her head is a bit harsh. Divorce, separation, and yelling I have no issues with and are justified but removing of the head, I have a problem. The punishment should fit the crime, cheating is not nor should it be a capital offence. Other than the extremity of what this thread is about, I don't disagree with the sentiment in your thread.

By the way what is your opinion on an semi-open marriage like mine? Do you think playing with permission is cheating? Just wondering.

Admittedly, this is self-serving because I'm in such a relationship and don't believe it's cheating.  How can you cheat if you tell the other party what you're doing and they agree to it, in addition to having the same right?  That's an arrangement to preserve a marriage, not sneaking around and destroying it.  Of course, mine may still fall of its own weight, but not because anyone was sneaking around.

No thats not cheating at all. I know a few couples that have open or semi open marriages and its a decision that was reached between both parties and therefore I dont consider it cheating.
