It's amazing how well language skills pick up when you are forced to deal with it, and the hobby will do just that.

I have known several Korean gals whose English is only half of what would typically need to get by, the that has never been a hindrance to our love making.

I think it's admirable your friend is learning 'ingles' not just for the hobby, but for her own good, if she's going to be a citizen in the U.S.

Or most of the civilized world, for that matter.

And in all actuality, your English is broken. But I understand what your'e saying. And most of all, I respect it, if that means anything.

But yeah, she was right to have you as a coach, and I hope the both of you find what you're looking for!

Language might NOT be a problem if you consider CULTURE and CONTEXT.

For context, I'll use AMPs. Lots of girls there have minimal English but they are in a protected setting. Because of their well defined services and reputations (consistent menu and service: shower, massage, etc.) there can be no misunderstandings about what is offered and NOT offered and if there are, there is someone else there to help with anything that might happen. (You almost never see the guys, but there is usually security on the premises, at least in NY.)

If she doesn't understand American culture yet, a language mistake or body language mistake or a misunderstood standard American cultural reference can create a bad situation. Just trying to communicate with someone who comes to the door drunk or is clearly a badass would be bad from square one.

Depending on location (e.g., NY), there may be apartments with a group of (Latina, Asian, mixed) girls working, advertising and screening together.

At the very least, she should be in ESL classes. Being a provider ought not be her only career option.

I would think her biggest problem would be in screening her potential dates.  Since she has a girlfriend who speaks and understands English and who would schedule the appointments it is important that this lady understand how to screen and the importance of screening.  She will have a HUGE responsibility in the safety and security of your friend.   Otherwise, I believe as long as she has a basic understanding in English and she can be strong and forceful when she has to say "NO BBFS", she should be okay.  She may even have a whole group who seaks her out because of the language she speaks!  It does not have to be a hinderance to her success!!   I wish her luck if she decides to give it a try!

Sounds like she's giving it a genuine effort. Help her out all that you can.

It helps!  So I have heard from non Americans learning or have learned the language.

The best advice i can give is

don't volunteer to be her English tutor!

I really appreciate all the good advise and I felt the same way as many here. I am sure she will do fine and in time will be able to have good conversations with her English speaking clients. Again thank you all.
