I understand girls can be out of town, etc., but what would a normal response time to an e-mail request for an appointment take. 2 hrs, 24 hrs or more??? Should I e-mail again or move on?
on if the gal is also working a full time 'day' job..such as myself. In that case, I always respond within 24 hours..unless of course I am out of town or on vacation. And then I would set up an 'auto reply' so that everyone knows not to expect an answer sooner.
I would expect that most courtesans reply within 24 hours..or am I wrong?
Luv,
Miss Tyler
I anticipate a response within 24 hours, and I don't feel that is an unrealistic expectation of someone who is soliciting contacts via e-mail.
My actual experience runs the gamut from a response less than one minute after I sent my original message to one lady who sent her "sorry for the delay, I'd love to meet you" over 2 months after I left town.
All providers act differently to handling emails. Some are very good and get back to you within 2 few hours while others take a few days to get back to you. I would send out your email and give it a few days. If you don't hear anything then email her again. If you still don't get a response then it's time to move on.
A lot depends on whether you are known to the lady, whether she has to check references, whether you ask 12 hours or 12 days in advance, etc. I think that if you supply everything a first-time lady asks for in your first e-mail, then you should expect a reply within 48 hours. If you don't get one then, I think it's time to move on. The time might well be shorter for a lady who knows you or who has already checked your references.
If you REALLY, REALLY want to see a new lady and she hasn't replied in 48 hours, try a follow-up with a polite tone--not "Why haven't you answered, bitch?" tone, and see what happens. If you don't get a reply to the followup within 24 hours, time to move on, IMHO
It all depends... someone may be out of town, busy, etc...
It all depends..
If its a yahoo addy.. Sometimes msgs go to bulk folders and girls dont even know they have to turn them on ( some guys dont know either.) Therefore, your email never reached her at all
Aol - end in spam folders and they arent checked often
hotmail - again- junk folders.. not many know to turn them on and see what lands in there..
girls domains. their servers may have spamlists/blacklists for certain words etc.. viola' it may have been deleted..
Email is a crazy thing these days!
Ordinarily, a day or two.. sometimes I send out emails to providers and many dont check their mail for 2-3 days. Traveling, kids, school, vacations..busy time of year !!

Be patient, and you will surely get a reply. Don't assume because you want to schedule an appointment that the provider is just sitting next to her computer waiting for your inquiry.
She may not only be away on travel but just to busy to call back within 12 to 24hrs. Same reason most providers will ask for advance notice, like all things response time is pretty much a YMMV situation. Be patient and your time will cum = )
There are all sorts of reasons she may not have replied and I think it's always worth doing a follow-up email.
For instance, I've had no end of problems with webmail and laptops this year - I've just had to buy a new laptop and have lost a month's worth of emails. The lady could be having technical problems so it's worth giving her a chance.
However, chances are that she is just being tardy and if you don't get a response to your second email then definitely move on. Unfortunately some ladies are not very professional/considerate when it comes to response times. But many of us do make an effort to get back to you asap!!
How does that happen. Sorry for the ignorance, but I just got a new laptop too. Just getting a new laptop does not delete all your email. As long as you have the same ISP and email accounts, when you plug and go, you literally plug and go. I did not loose any email.
What am I missing in the tech world here? lol

If your service relies upon a software package such as Outlook to transfer mail from the services inbox to a .pst file (inbox) on the PC's C-drive then after the download the mail is resident on the PC itself and Carrie's nightmare is quite real.
The secret here is to back-up the C-drive frequently to an external storage device to protect against hard drive failure.

As HeyNow guessed, I use Outlook to download my webmail to my laptop. I last did a back up of my data about a month before my laptop suffered a complete system failure so I lost everything - documents I'd written, emails etc - from the month between back up and meltdown.
I didn't do back ups regularly so consider myself quite lucky that I only lost a month. I will be doing more frequent back up from now on!
Many have been alluded to already. But for me traveling especially, I consider a lot of factors. It depends on the acutal city I am in, time of year (busy season, vacations), she can be on a trip, your mail goes to span, there computer is down (I have problems with that one), kids, family demands, got smashed the night before, the list can go on and on and on.
The real trick is understanding first of all that a lot of these ladies get hundreds and hundreds of emails. Some junk, some stupid, some nasty or ungentlemanly, and many more types.
You need to know you are at first nothing more than a number, unless you have caught her attention a little in the subject line and then with your message. Try Subject: I give the best DATY west of the rockies!! Maybe not, but put some thought into what goes into the subject line and be somewhat creative yet a gentleman.
Then KISSS. Keep is short and simple stupid. Comment of your attraction to her and/or reputation as a provider. Tell her as much as you can and feel comfortable giving out at that stage. This help right off the bat as possibly and easy screen for her. She is more likely to respond to you as opposed to the other 173 others in her box (no pun).
Now, having said all that, I do not send second emails. That is just me. If I have done the above I expect a return mail within a reasonable amount of time. 24-48 hrs. is my limit and I have moved on. Yeah, several have replied later than that, but that's their loss. I am the payee. I may still keep her in my favorites for next trip or try again, where she is touring and we might meet, but moving on is done whole lot in this hobby. Nobody's fault on either side. It just is what it is. Life too shot to sweat the small stuff.
Provided that you fill out her booking form to her specifications (if she has one) and do not ask pointed questions (you sound like you already know what those are), then if 3 or so days go by, do email her again asking if she received your previous email.
Reasons/excuses for my own delays:
1)I have been interrupted while starting to answer an email and then (eeeps my bad!)forgotten to go back and finish answering it afterwards, knowing all the while that something was missing.
2)when a man tells me his name in his email but uses a different name for his email address, it becomes confusing to search for the email afterwards, if I need to go back and answer it after only having had time to read it, and forgetting to mark it as unread. I may not have the opportunity to do that for a day or two or three if I'm running off somewhere...
3)One more thing, I don't return emails when the booking form is simply a name email and a voicemail/cell number and all else is left blank. I do call the number, but if the man doesn't answer the phone, what the heck is that? I'm supposed to leave my info with him on his recording?
Anyhow, sir, I know that #3 doesn't apply to you, but those are my stories, for what it's worth.
So, finally, just a simple reminder email will do...

That school just started, and some of us are getting adjusted to various changes in our daily routines, so it may take a little longer at this particular time than perhaps other times.
...8 minutes.
Auto-Response: "Dear Lex Luethor. I'm sorry, but I won't be able to see you. I've either retired, recently married, or died. Thank you for your interest. xoxoxo"
