If my favorites aren't available or I want to try somebody differant I just do the old internet search and check ter. I'm a spur of the moment guy don't plan far ahead. Wondering how other guys do it and if any Providers have input.

I will frequently go through the New Reviews for my area looking for new providers to see.  If I like someone based on her reviews, I will add her to my favorites, creating a hobby to do list.  When I have time, I will visit their sites and check out what they have to offer and how they screen.  I usually prescreen by sending an email introducing myself and giving my verification information.  I will do this as the provider moves up the to do list.  That way, if I have to make a short notice appointment, I will not have to go through the screening.

I also use a regular agency in my area for the real short notice (an hour) appointments, and constantly keep track of their ladies so that I know who to ask for.

Since I've been active on the boards, I've had some very wonderful ladies PM me to initiate some contact before they tour my area.  I think that is about the coolest thing that's happened to me in awhile.

I do my research in various ways.  Sometimes I'll search Eros and then cross reference with TER reviews.  No reviews means I'll pass.

Lately, I have been seeing some ladies I met at a M & G.  This is a great way to see if there is a conection before you invest a bunch of cash.

I will also get attracted to a lady who posts interesting stuff on the boards.  I have seen several ladies who I first met here on TER discusion boards.  A certain lady in PHX for example.  Now, if I ever got to Buffalo...

Both these guys give out way too much perfect advice to be anything but veterans!

If you'd also like the perspective of a just-not-a-newbie; I currently wont consider anyone without a website. I believe it shows that the lady I'm interested in has a professional approach. It also allows me to get a better understanding of what she is like beforehand, which to me is very important.

I have also discovered TER a fantastic source for advice and information in general, and would not have this huge smile on my face right now if I hadnt discovered it! I agree completely about the reviews - They turn "?" into "!" right away.

Sometimes I like to see friends of my favorite providers, especially if they speak highly of them.  I think it's one of the safest ways to meet new providers.

Other sources I use are the TER boards followed by RS2000, then Eros.  However, I often spend many hours on TER checking reviews of providers who I may be interested in seeing.  I guess you could say that I fall into the "plan far ahead" catagory, since it takes me awhile to decide ...LOL.

One thing I do like about ladies who post regularly on the TER boards is that you can get a feel for their "cyber-personalities" as well.  From that alone, there are a few who I would like to see, if the opportunity and timing is right.

rayjjr response is perfect, even if your looking for last minute fun it is best to prescreen in advance.  We as providers are not just sitting idle and waiting for that one call to come in from.....?  If your sincere and she is really on your to do list, dont wait until the day of to make contact.  Anyone worth their service in gold will most likely not be avail on a whim.  Giving a little notice really goes a long way = )

I'm not afraid to TOFTT! Besides, the added sense of adventure is the diffrence between "The Hobby" and "The Game"... To each their own!

I understand you are not waiting for my phone call but being a spur of the moment guy or working around my work schedule isn't easy also, so I can't always have my cake and eat it to (daty) ha ha, but I have met a few nice ladies that otherwise I would have never chose. Hobbying is not a exact science. On some occasions out of pure boredom I decided to hobby or maybe I was on a natural high or who knows a full moon, for me I just get the urge on the spur of the moment.

one more thing I don't expect a Provider to change their schedule for me. If a times works out fine if not thats ok, it's just life and I deal with it.

After being here for almost four years, I have a list of ladies I want to see.  This has worked throughout....I have an ATF, and can hobby at will since my references are strong!  Have a great week-end, everybody...

I'm dirt poor (though I promise that I love my job far more than you love yours), so I don't have money to do this very often, and I am therefore not willing to do anything less than a great experience.  

So, I start with a TER search by performance looking for what I'm after performance wise, and then figure out which of the ladies are most attractive to me.  I don't even bother to look at a website if they don't have a performance average over 7, at least 4 reviews, and her review make her sound appealing.  THEN I look at websites and see if she is physically attractive to me.  I mean, why let my dick lead me to a girl who I find attractive if I'm not sure she is what I'm after.  

It leads to fewer disappointments for me, and because I know what to expect, the ladies don't have to worry about me trying to push them to do anything they don't want to do.

I do a lot of it, sometimes 2-4 weeks before choosing someone to see. Guess I'm not that horny that I need Ms RightNow, lol.

I am a planner.  While surprises are nice, I prefer to know a little about the lady before seeing her.  Right now I have a bucket list with several names on it.  Hopefully, I will get to see all of them eventually.

I visit all the main boards looking for ladies.  I research here.  I also chat on a local forum and have found some lovely ladies there as well.  As KK said, M & G's are also a good place to find a new desire.

When I find someone, I usually start contact with email and exchange some messages to find out what she is like.  Then I really decide if I want to see her.  Some of the ladies on my bucket list, I have not conversed with yet, but they interest me so I will eventually contact them.  Only problem with my list is that it keeps growing.  Wish my wallet would get fatter.

I'm also willing to go for it on fairly short notice if an ad appears for someone I'm attracted to with good reviews, AND I've got the time to go play.  My schedule is tight, and my free time for hobbying is limited; right now, I've got two dates on my calendar for this month, and that's a lot for me.  I do have a list of ladies I'd like to see, and have done some pre-screening with them just in case I'm available on short notice; however, that doesn't happen very often, since it means she's got to be available on short notice too, and that's often difficult.

I signed up with a screening service (P411) that is in widespread use in Dallas, where I sometimes travel for business.  It's not as widely used in my home city of Baltimore, so if I were only playing here, I'd probably have signed up with someone else; find the service most relied on in your area and get signed up.
