uses business cards?  I have only run into one about three years ago.  Providers have you ever used business cards to promote yourself?  If you have a web site what would be the down side of giving out business cards with or without a job title?

Candra in San Diego gave me a card after our first meeting.  I also have an old card from a provider I met at the infamous Mustang Ranch many years ago.

I know two ladies currently still working who were giving out business cards last I saw them.  One about a year a go, another almost 2 years ago.

If they are discreet, why not?

I also know two ladies now retired who followed this practice.

I mean they can't have 1-800-BLOW-YOU as the phone# and make
a married guy want to carry them... well maybe Tana.

I have run across two.  One's card read "Management Consultant" and the other's read "Researcher".

Here in Phoenix we have an agency that uses business cards.  It has a likeness of the Washington Monument with the solgan "experience all you can be."  Very clever and a very good agency.

before the Internet.  "Executive Services" "Public Relations" "Personal Assistance"

Lots of them could be a real howl.

My ATF gave me a business card upon our first meeting (it was at a party) no job title just her name & number on plain white stock. I still have the card safely stored away (I'm a bit of a sentimentalist even if I am a cynic).

It is not uncommon for rich upper crust women to have a personal card with their name and phone number or email address to give out at social occasions so that aquaintances will remember how to get in touch with them. It is also a very good low cost way for providers to market their services.

After my first session with a provider recently, I was given a card with only a phone number and was told "here is my direct and personal number, please call me again soon."

I think business cards are a great way to leave your name and I know quite a few who use them. Obviously, the cards are discreet, with "web designer", or "real estate agent" on the front.

A tag line with something like "Your expert in sensuality" would not go over well if the wife found it,LOL.

I think I'm going to have a (fake) real estate card made, and include my picture (because that's what usually the real estate people do). That way, the person will remember who I am if I am at an escort function/party and am handing out cards left and right. Naturally, I will wear a conservative blouse in the pic, not one of my favorite see-through or low-cut outfits. :)

I know one girl who goes so far as to have the phone number printed with the last two digits reversed, just in case the wife decides to check on the "web consultant". :)

yes I know several who do so or have done so in the past. It is mostly a reminder of their phone number and there is no job title  - just her name & number and maybe a few hearts on the card.

I would've made them ages ago but I cannot imagine the majority of my clients wanting to have them. Anywhere. In their car, wallet, or whereever. It's all about discretion and I think having a business card... even with just a name and number or email... would be less discreet for most married gents.

Just my thoughts... I'll take discretion over an elegant card that could ruin a marraige any day.

I had someone suggest that I make business cards because everytime I was out on the road visiting another city on my off time, I was being propositioned by gentlemen in clubs, bars, restaurants, museums who were also traveling and looking for a bit of a fun romantic evening.
So I started to carry these cards with me and when meeting someone, I hand them the card as I am leaving and basically say, perhaps we could set up an appointment for consultation if you are interested.  Feel free to call me later this evening, as I'll be available.
On the card, it basically covers the field I'm really in, but have the consultant part added on.  So far I would have to say I've gotten 60% turned into last minute add on fun and 35% interested in  fun, but not business and maybe a few here and there that didn't call.
I guess I would say that I wouldn't rely on it as my sole marketing source, but for add ons, it's great.
