TER General Board

Just one more reason why

I have seen postings by providers about negative reviews that are fake, but don't recall any on this subject. Two providers that I have seen this month told me that the same guy wrote fake reviews about them that were positive and consistent with their other reviews, but were totally false because they never met him. I wonder whether other providers have had this problem and just how widespread it. My guess is that many providers don't go through the trouble of complaining to TER if the reviews are positive. Another way to game the system.

I just paid the fee to TER.

I do not get the fake reviews but I guess it saves them a couple of bucks.

i found a couple of fake reviews for me, and had them pulled.  they were positive, but one was a copy/paste of someone elses review of me.  first, i wrote the person asking them why they are doing a fake review since i never met them...then after no response, i asked admin to pull them.

good or not, they were still fakes.

providers should read their reviews. I can't believe how many providers have told me they seldom if ever read their reviews. It would cut down on crap like that, and the bogus reviews that are NOT positive.

She asked TER to take it down, and when they didn't and she insisted, she got banned for her trouble.

Sometimes it isn't worth the bother

Really interesting discussion with some innovative fixes.

like 9/10's or 9/9's were posted, and I think one 8/9. I have a feeling one or two of those could have been someone trying to help me out to get a discount, (who was planning to schedule a date with me,) a scheduling company trying to bring in more money to their business through me, whatever IDK... but I had them taken down. Sometimes the guys' reasoning isn't to review, but to say "Hey I'm the guy who reviewed you this date. I gave you the 9/10, remember? Wanna see me again?" When she had never seen him. Some girls fall for that, I'm sure.

There was the Jekyl & Hyde one (greek/anal) done by some dude I wouldn't give a discount to under my craigslist name I had for like 3 months, very early 2013. (Jasmine.) I switched to Courtney and he reviewed Courtney. Got a finger stuck up my bunghole by another dude because of that one and the guy who believed that review was tactfully rebuked lol. Also argued with me about it.

The bad fake review was left up, and it's really not affected me. I'm not sure if anybody realizes this, but most guys who are lurkers, (i.e. not involved on the boards, but do read them,) or guys who search the reviews after seeing an advertisement or website, don't even see the scores, the explicit details, or even the services. They also don't see where us ladies rank. Sure, some do, but most don't.

I think my screening process attracts an entirely different clientele from those who are VIP and very active in TER community, even P411 community. Meaning they are most likely unable to provide a handle or OK's from these places. There are still a good amount who can, but I'd say a large percentage of guys I see simply look to see if she looks like her pictures, and if the guy would see her again and/or recommend her.

I went three months without a review and didn't really see a difference in inquiries. When a review pops up though, I notice I get more inquiries from guys more likely to be VIP TER members.

Gaming the system is popular by a select few I'm sure. However, many realize they really don't need to if they're just consistent, provide an excellent time for the guy, make him feel special, and retain them via the communication as they book. And advertise and market aggressively/creatively.

Reviews are part of the battle, sure. But as many people say around here, it really has to do with the words, because a large percentage don't see the scores anyway.

I would hope that ladies screening a guy aren't just going to trust he saw this girl and lean on that false evidence. Then blame the girl who has the fake review. All should screen for themselves, and honestly I don't count on asking a girl verification just because some guy wrote a TER review on her. She could always say "Yes, I saw him" just because she doesn't want the good review reported and taken down. No thanks.

I have read a number of positive reviews that I could tell were fake.  (Most obvious examples were senoritas who had left Tijuana to go back home, yet they had received good reviews months after they had left....and I knew they were still at home.)

Obviously, a guy's chances of having his free time remain in effect is by posting a positive review that many TER-knowledgeable providers may figure is not worth complaining about.  It is the fake harmful reviews submitted by the A-holes that they are likely to complain about.

Almost always, I check a guy's review history before I read his review of a new gal.

Here is another example of your "twist":  A gal who has received one or more 4-5 scores and then by some miracle receives a 8-9 from a guy who has not posted a review previously.  Often, it is his first and only review, so he (or she) is posting it not to receive free VIP time but to help offset her poor scores

I stopped doing reviews with any regularity awhile back. They claimed one of mine a fake. I told them to stick it where the sun don't shine (not so nice) and got 30 days for it. Sometimes this place makes me wonder......................

That was an exceptionally long winded way of saying yes, people write fake positive reviews and yes, I think most of us ask to have them taken down. And to add to that: TER allows positive reviews with false content as long as someone can prove they were in a room with you for a session.
They allow reviews to stand if there is evidence you met. When an escort disputes a review publicly it becomes a HE SAID-SHE SAID type of thing. If a store is robbed and there are 10 witnesses the cops will get 10 descriptions of the perpetrator. It's not surprising you have a different perspective of what happened.

I've been in groups where ladies are allowed to comment on and dispute reviews. Even if the lady is telling the truth, it makes her look bad.

What I notice are new girls who seem to have a few legit reviews but have a bunch of reviews from "one-review-wonders." The one review wonder reviews are always stellar.

Back this past summer I was asked to write a "fake" good review for a provider that I had seen a few times.  Her business was declining and it wasn't for VIP it was to boost her business.  I declined.  I flat out told her that she had to do the advertising herself.  I never heard from her again-nor have I seen any more reviews about her...anywhere.

I never really knew that providers check their reviews that often.  Thats good to know.

Woke up to a 10/8, well written flattering review, but with weird details about things I've haven't done in years...so knew it  was fake and immediately PMed the reviewer and TER, had it down in 2 days. First time and hopefully the last. I only barely want reviews and definitely don't want anyone I have not seen linked to me. Good score or not, not worth it

And there is no way things will change even after that repugnant maggot who started it is gone. Clearly this site does not care about the hookers much at all in the respects you mentioned. But it  is a trick site so what do you expect...fairness???????

Couldn't get past the "guys control reviews 100%) snark. I battled with them along with the gal for 30 days about the validity of a review. Review never got posted. Gal got the shaft. I got 30 days in the hole. Today I prolly review 20% of my dates if that. Move on or give up the bitter party. No one forced you to come much less stay here.
