Isn't that what everyone wants anyway? Birthdays, weddings, etc. people like cash. Shit, they don't even read the card..LOL
Also, saves you time. Don't have time to browse website, run to liquor store, etc.
Thought about bringing a bottle of wine on a date sometime. Truth is I don't know crap about wine, figured a 12 pack of Bud or a fifth if Wild Turkey probally not the best choice for a date. Hate to sound so backwards but seriously I'm a beer and bourbon guy. Need some of you sophisticated ladies to give an old country boy a lesson in society. I have enough sense to know you don't buy it at the 7 11 but that's the extent if my expertise. Figure if I show up with some white lightning in a Mason jar that would arouse suspicion. :0)
Any lady would be more than happy to help you out...just ask them and I am sure they would let you know what to bring. Then again, you could always grab some Tequila and do body shots...![]()

I had one lady ask for beer. She drank more than I did and was a tiny little thing. I usually ask if I could bring anything.
And be sure to bring yahtzee for that "down time" fun.
If she's a shiksa...keep the wine for yourself as Pesach is just around the corner.
Win win all the way around ![]()

Turning you into a....dare I say it? Softey? Heaven forbid! Thank would be a sign of the apocalypse! Well that, and LR sitting on a 7" schlong! Lol!
Hey...even an asswipe like me can show a kinder...gentler side.
Just like TER.
How long will it last?
He told me if I posted a nice post today that he would make sure that HoC would stay hetero.
So...we'll see if he was right!
Is that the first anal bead ever invented?!?
I hope that wasn't up your ass first!
Why did you wrap it around a bottle?
Jezz... That thing should be in a museum. ![]()
Like You! ![]()
You...not so much ![]()

All the snappy comebacks, quick witted lines, tough guy approach. And to think...not but a month ago our little houndette was looking at saggy balls in an aquatic cesspool of hardcore homosexuality. He has come along way!
Gotta handle him with kid gloves.
Don't want him to fall back into the hot tub and have schweddy balls.
How long before someone puts up the "how big is my dick" thread? Followed quickly by "Do you hookers really love us"?
I was flipping around last night and listened to Oprah and Gayle talk about how they double team Steadman...and only charge him 1.5 times Oprah's hourly rate.
You know what else is funny...Magic is getting his head so far up SS's ass...and he still doesn't get it ![]()
I'd fuck her>?!?!
Hopefully she does anal?

Hey! Your my enemy now too!!!
Grrrrrr......
From a life of taking it in the out going tunnel...from staying up all night to be the first in line to get Bette Midler tickets...from crying for hours when some other dude got to the altar with Clay Aiken...from doing MMM threesomes...I, Bluepillman, bestow upon you, Sir Hound of Cullin, your rightful place with me, Brad Pitt, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Clinton, and John Travolta...well maybe not that last guy...into the League of Heterosexuals, where you will stay forever, and you will decline all invitations to any hot tub sausage parties, altar boy meetings, "The View" fan club M&G's, and anything Richard Simmons related...but I must be the one who tells you, for you must know....you are the son of Dick Yoda! May the whores be with you!
Many of the high end grocery stores in my area have a huge selection of just wines, I'm talking 6 isles of wines. You can spend alot of money on a bottle of wine but honestly a $20 to $35 bottle of wine is a good bottle of wine. My rule of thumb is that I never buy wine in a box, and never buy a bottle under $15 with my favorite right now running around $30.
Ask her what her preference is red or white? Chances are she will be very specific at this point and tell you exactly which type of wine she likes. Write it down because once you get to the wine market you will forget and you don't want to be wrong about it.
Personally I think it's a great touch and she will enjoy the thought and time you put into it.
With all of that said, I seriously have a bottle of moonshine in a mason jar in my liquor cabinet but I am from Louisianna and you know us swamp people know how to drink.
Best of luck,
MM
Crawfish, or just mud-bugs.
Not to mix a metaphor, but the key to eatin' mudbugs is, you gotta suck the head. True dat. Had a girlfriend from Shreveport way back. Schooled me.
Some incredible advancements in medicine have been made to help with that. Oh and the 2 for 1 coupon for a whopper was expired but thanks anyway lol.
MM
Ugh...fkin zip it pill boy! He brings wtf I tell him to bring..how about that bwahahhaha. When he is getting his d(ck sucked LR style, wine is such a small gesture...meh.

Pino. Santa Margrita. (Or something like that) Thats good
Shiraz. Australian stuff. Rosemont Estate (I think)
Merlot. Jared.
They are all cheaper wines that taste good.
Most of that fancy wine tastes like shit!
It is old, and sour. But they call that Dry.
Fuck Them, and their old refined asses.
They can't see.. Let alone taste...
I used to work as a waiter..
I gave those who thought they were getting the best...
Less than that..
Believe me guys.. You can't tell.
Watch me open the cork??? Ha!
You have no idea....
I'll give you a fancy cork to smell, or put down.
It didn't come out of your bottle though!!! LMAO! ![]()
To me. Wine is paired with food.
I don't drink it unless I am eating.
I would just bring the twelve pack.
of decent wine for $20-$30 something is wrong.

they're just glad you're not a blood relation. LOL! No, really, it's just not necessary. Nice, yes. But us long as you arrive clean, with the right donation and don't act like an ass, they will appreciate you. Most of the wine just gets left for the hotel maid. Do the other stuff, but don't bother with the wine.
You can never go wrong with a bottle of "two buck chuck" from trader joes
Just as with the rest of us there is no one size fits all approach to which is the best wine to bring. the ladies all have different tastes as us guys do. Some of the ladies even put a preference on their website. I personally would ask to make sure and I could not agree more with MagicMedic. Write it down as you will not remember when you get to the store. Besides that a lot of the wine names are very similar. You do not want to show up with the wrong wine after asking which one to bring.
I took a part-time job in a fine wine & liquor store (In MA you can sell both in the same store, not so in a lot of other places I've been).
He wasn't paying much more than minimum wage, but he did give us our liquor at cost and I was hitting the sauce pretty good back then ![]()
Anyway, my theory was to start bringing home a bottle of wine every few days, starting with the cheapest rotgut in the store and working my way up in price until I found a wine that I could both afford and enjoy.
Two wines that really stand out for me that I still enjoy today are from Louis Jadot - they have a Pouilly-Fuisse Chardonnay (white) that goes for about $25 a bottle, and a Gamay Beaujolais (red) that is only around $15 a bottle!
Now, if she is a connoisseur of very fine wines, I suppose she might turn up her nose at these two, but for the average person, they are delicious and have a broad appeal. And the names are very french and they have a cool label ![]()
I never saw the point of developing a taste for wine that I could not afford, so I have never done taste-tests with $60 - $100+ bottles of wine (except the occasional Dom or Cristal at a New Year's Party), but I can say that I never found any wines at the $50 - $60 level that I enjoyed more than the Jadot wines.
Of course, as many other posters have said here - ask her!
Bring a red AND white wine. My personal favorites: Francis Coppola Merlot, Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay, or a Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio. Whichever one you don't finish, save it for another date. ; )
Love both the cakebread and santa
margarita, now I want a drink
MM
Another goody...a Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc.

Going to pick it up tonight. I have a date this weekend and I love trying new wines.
MM
This particular wine compliments food and/or happy hour.

Still new to all this and don't wanna seem like a total jack wagon (another Carolina term for those unfamiliar with southern speech). Thought it would be a nice thing to add to a lovely time spent with a lady. Thanks for the suggestions maybe I'll bring a small bottle of Crown just in case!!
Have a read...
Most girls do like wine, but it may depend on her mood, time of day the appt is, etc... Try bringing a mild white like Pinot Grigio and maybe a sweet red or merlo. If you are not trying to surprise her, just ask her which her preference may be
xo
Malbecs are delicious red wines, and you can find wonderful bottles in the $20-$30 range. Honestly, I don't think I've had a malbec that I didn't like and the most I've ever spent on a bottle is maybe $35. I've even found good ones at Walgreens anf CVS for less than $20.
Hope that helps!
It is a very nice gesture, but some provider are super sensitive about these things. I would no suggest asking if she is a recovering addict, but just ask if she would like a beverage. Personally, I am the one who provides this for my clients, but it is a nice change when they are the ones who bring a bottle of Cakebread or Quintessa...my two faves.
Not only do I do the wine thing, but I make sure to pair it with the right cheese, breads, fruits, and crustinis. YUM!!!!

Not really looking at as a gift though, agree with ya on cash the best gift especially in a client provider relationship. Was more of a expanding the illusion thing I guess.
is one of my favorites. I dont think you can go wrong with this wine. Usually around $30 a bottle ![]()
A Bordeaux wine is the first choice
I am definitely no wine expert myself though lol but I know decent from rock gut shit! lol
Hope this helps
Hugs and kisses

because those are my favorite. They are great for high blood pressure too.
On the other hand, I've never known a gal to refuse Champagne, but be sure it is from France, and not the horse pee that comes from California or upstate New York.
Make sure there will be ice and an ice bucket where ever you are going, and some good champagne flutes too.
Here is another trick that can turn you into an overnight wine expert: There is a magazine call The Wine Spectator, and the better liquor stores list their rating next to particular bottles. Go with those rated 90 and above. It's never steered me wrong, even for $12 bottles!
Finally: Gals love cordials like Vandermint, Kahlua, and Amaretto. You won't go wrong with those either.
Also, it should go without saying but I'll say it anyways: Always bring liquids in s sealed container for her peace of mind.
Cheers!
Not in the initial email appt request but in a subsequent contact confirming our appt etc I will always ask "is there anything you would like me to bring? Wine ...red?...white? Champagne?"
I happen to know a little bit about wines so if the lady replies she likes a dry white wine or a sweet red I know what to do. But still , one should never be shy about asking the employee in the wine shop or even a grocery store even a 7-11 for some help. Often I'll ask if there is a particular lable she likes That simplifies things a little.
Don't forget to take a good opener.
Actually met this lady a few times so comfort level good, Ill just ask. Good reminder on the opener that would suck to forget.
ask what beverage they preferred. One time, I was doing a FMF and both ladies wanted rum & coke. I went through a pint of rum but had a great time as both ladies were feeling the booze and showed me a great time. Maybe the best three-some I've ever had.
At wine-tasting dinners, particular varieties of wines are carefully paired with specific dishes and brought out course by course. The seasonings often determine whether a recipe is best matched to this or that variety of red or some particular variety of white.
Although I've certainly not studied the matter, I suspect that performance of a BBBJ is best served by some variety of white. Perhaps a pinot grigio if he's cut, but a hefty chardonnay if he's uncut.
From my experience, I think a red is the best choice for DATY. The variety of red might be influenced by whether the lady is shaved or not.
Has anybody out there taken good notes on this kind of wine pairing? Not interested in brands and labels (any choice from a good region in a $20+ bottle will be fine). Cheap stuff only leads to a bad head the next morning. Pun intended.
... that the wine heightens the experience as it does for food. Please let's not discourage those people from commenting. After all, the "D" in "DATY" does stand for "dining."
