Gents and ladies generally book appts with a local or traveling lady to your city or where you are traveling to?
If a lady decides to tour your city and posts her schedule 2+ wks ahead of travel when do you reach out if interested?
Just curious as I do a bit of traveling and many times to the same cities I always have a couple of gents who always wait until the last minute. Despite mentioning they have seen the ads in advance. When asked if it was due to scheduling they just say they like to wait until day of arrival.

2-3 days before the arrival date, and I will pick a session date that is 3-5 days AFTER the arrival date, in case there are last minute travel issues.   Plans are less likely to change by then.  I tried booking further out a few times and then the arrival date changes, so its sometimes  an exercise in futility.  If there are not enough bookings to justify the trip a few days before the arrival date, they will often push back the date.  I don't like to keep changing my own schedule to match.

I would say 95% of my sessions are booked same day.

My schedule is subject to change on very short notice, and I don't want to be "that guy" who is always cancelling appointments because "something came up", the lesser of the evils is to book same day. Yes, I know that means I won't ever be able to see certain providers that I might like to, but I have too much respect for other peoples time to book appointments that I am not absolutely certain that I can keep

If I am traveling to Vegas, as an example, and I want to meet a certain lady, I will book well in advance. Like the previous poster, my schedule is likely to change at short notice.  I hate to have to cancel with a provider so most of my appointments are same day appointments.

I prefer the earliest appointment possible. So, I generally schedule 1 to 3 days in advance.
But I occasionally do same day appointments, too.
If I want a specific day I will schedule up to a week in advance. It’s much harder to do. But sometimes I’m in the mood for a special date that may take a little preparation. Or I know that there is a specific day coming up that I know without a doubt that I’ll be free.

cancelled four times in 12 years.  One was a car accident I was in ON THE WAY to the session.  The other three were emergency hospitalizations of family members.  When I book, its cast in stone on my side, barring these types of emergencies.  I know a lot of guys cancel arbitrarily and it bugs the shit out of the providers.

My ATF was someone I could call up, and she would get ready and come over right away. My current favorite, Chanel Odette, is extremely busy because she also does porn, custom shoots, phone sex, etc. So I have to either book my her calendar or volunteer to fill in for cancellations or no shows on my days off. If I am visiting a certain city and want to see someone, I will start the conversation a month in advance.

Some ladies want advance bookings, and honor them.  I see those ladies on days I'm sure in advance will be OK for me.
Some ladies (and agencies) book only same day, or day before.  I see them when I can't be sure of my schedule a week out.

I have been flaked on by weeks-in-advance ladies far more often than by same-day ladies.  By flaking I mean ghosting at the set time, once even after confirmation that morning.  I don't quite know what that means.  These were not traveling ladies, so it wasn't about insufficient bookings for her trip.  Change or cancellation more than a day ahead is OK, I just go see one of the same-day ladies instead.

is my average, although I'll sometimes book even farther in advance.

I'm a planner... I choose carefully who I want to see, and book as soon as I know my travel plans, which tend to run 2 weeks ahead. I rarely book when I'm at home; if I do, it's usually more spur of the moment and one to maybe three days in advance.

For me it is a week or at least two days. If repeating, I book X day of the week. For traveling companion... months ahead of time have happened.
I cancel very rarely. May be 3 or 4 times in last 10 years.

The first is to get the most advantageous time.

The second is to encourage the gal to decide to come in the first place and not cancel.

When I travel, about one week out. Sometimes I'll try to schedule someone when I'm on the 15 past Yermo for that night. When I'm at home, I'll schedule the morning of. Yes I'm not good at it and I get alot of shit for it but it's me.

Locally, I tend to book same day, or the day before at the earliest.  While home, my schedule can change on a whim.

If I'm travelling to an area, I book fairly far in advance to be sure that I can secure a calendar spot and plan my afternoon/evening activities while I'm there...and I know that my schedule is pretty much locked in...

I'm not sure of the nature of Jaydalee's Q (general info or planning purposes), but the "planning purposes" has come up in older threads on touring: sometimes in Newbie, sometimes General, sometimes a specific city where Provider feedback varied ("Worst city ever for cancellations." to "Great place! Six tours, not one cancel!").
.
I recall that some frequently touring Providers mentioned that they learned from experience how much they needed to book, or overbook, before committing to a particular trip. The cancel rate wasn't always the same for everyone in every city, but each Provider who commented seemed to "know" their own best and worst cities.
.
E.g., one Provider might need to prebook 100% of her available time before actually making the trip to, e.g., Boston. She knows that she has a 25% cancel rate in Boston but a +15% last minute scheduling rate for Boston and it all works out for her. Another touring Provider might only have a 10% cancel rate and lots of "same day" appointment requests in Boston and is willing to make the trip with only 50% of her available time pre-booked. And, of course, there may be a Provider who overbooks by 50% or 100% because their Boston clientele has a high flake rate and she doesn't want to get burned on her trip.
.
As I recall, there wasn't a consensus on any worst city for cancellations: each Provider had her own good or bad experiences and preferences. Some Providers have a good rep (and Reviews) and they were confident to get "next day" or "same day" bookings but that it varies by city. ("They love me in Boston; I'm invisible in Chicago.")
.
I don't know if that's the sort of info that Jaydalee was looking for while planning a return from the COVID-19 shutdowns. I won't go into all the factors that can affect the success of a tour, especially (1) post-pandemic where EVERYTHING has changed for everybody and (2) visiting any new city for the first time (no prior experience on which to plan for cancels / same day appointments) and (3) local board participation and rep.

I have no problem booking early especially with a well established lady like yourself is visiting. When a lady is traveling I think she wants to know her trip will be worthwhile. I think you want to know there will be gents eagerly waiting for you when you visit our city. So if you advertise you are coming in say a month from now and you are on my radar I will book as far in advance as needed.

As Mr Fisher noted getting the preferred time is always helpful. You will be hearing from me soon; again. For local ladies I usually book a day in advance out of respect for them and their time.

I recall that some frequently touring Providers mentioned that they learned from experience how much they needed to book, or overbook, before committing to a particular trip.
If they don't get enough reservations to justify the trip, a good Provider will give plenty of notice to those with reservations (by email or text or whatever) that her trip is canceled. She might also post to the Regional Board about the cancellation of the trip w/o being nasty ("You guys suck! If you want to see me, you better fucking book in advance!!"). A polite notification might lead to some additional reservations by those who were hoping to see her but waiting for the next day / same day approach; a day or two later, her trip is back on!
E.g., one Provider might need to prebook 100% of her available time ...
Each touring Provider has a different amount of "available time" and how much needs to be booked to justify her trip. 3 days x 2 hours per day (average) = 6 hours available, wants to book at least 6 hours in any combo to make the trip because cancellations will knock that down to 4. The rest of her time is visiting friends and family.
Versus
3 days x 10 hours per day = 30 hours available, wants to book 20 hrs to make the trip because cancellations will knock that down to 10.
I won't go into all the factors that can affect the success of a tour, especially (1) post-pandemic where EVERYTHING has changed for everybody and (2) visiting any new city for the first time (no prior experience on which to plan for cancels / same day appointments) and (3) local board participation and rep.
As everybody (Touring Providers; Local Clients) get back to some sort of new normalcy, old data about cancellation rates may be unreliable when planning a trip. Likewise next day / same day preferences and predictions might be shifting.

When I travel, I will book weeks ahead as I know I will be in that place, for certain amount days.  I avoid booking the day of arrival, too many problems with flight logistics and delays.  Usually the night before I leave.

HOWEVER, since traveling is not in scope for this year, I a have been staying local.   In this case, I become a slave to mine, and others in my house work schedule, which can change up to a day in advance.  So that is my preference, a day in advance.  When a lady comes around who is on tour, I do book more in advance but I have anxiety about things changing such that I cannot make it.

Like others, I do not want to be "That Guy".  In the current non travel situation, it could happen.

Jaydalee I'm very much enamored of you as you know and I'm very well aware you don't come to NM. I'm prepared when I go to LV to ask you to meet and of course you'll ask for my references, when, where, and for how long.

Of course any and all is up to you!

It's your world. I just live in it!.... :)

I prefer for a client to contact me once they have arrived in Las Vegas. Schedules change often, especially flights, so I prefer to schedule once someone is settled at their hotel in Vegas. I only need about an hour notice, but prefer 2 hours notice.

Obviously that wasn't the response you were looking for. In any case, it is what it is, Jaydalee.

You're gorgeous and cool beyond compare.

You're one of the reasons I got back on here and why I left again.

I'm tired of the same old shit, but you ALMOST made it worthwhile to come back....

Anyway, we'll talk in other venues, and hopefully you and I can meet. More than once as far as I'm concerned....!!!!!

After reading this thread, I realized I'm a freak.  I start planning as soon as I know my travel plans.  Sometimes that's 3 or 4 weeks in advance.  Guess that's because mostly I only meet with regulars and the rare new adventure.  Of course I'll confirm as the date gets closer, but I enjoy the anticipation, and even more if the lady likes to engage in conversation to break the ice and know each other better.

If it is a lady that I really want to see or have wanted to see for a while or have seen before and really liked, then I will generally reach out to her as soon as I see her ad and I will attempt to "make time" or clear my schedule (5%).  Doesn't happen often however because there is so much great local talent.  On the other hand, if it is a lady that I was more on the fence about seeing, then I will typically just note the ad and maybe book her if my schedule allows which is usually a few days before arrival (85-90%).  But there are also those impulse bookings where my schedule opens up or I am just in the mood (5-10% and increasing).  Those are usually a day prior or the same day.
