I started my hobby experience visiting a certain brothel in Vegas. Visited it twice with same lady. She met me a couple of times in Vegas proper but the same brothel rules applied (no kissing, CBJ, no DATY).

Beside the dumb tourists there are probably some old school type, the ones with money and lot of time who just like to hang out and having drinks in the company of attractive and scantily clad women.
The brothel atmosphere is rather unique and can't be repeated anywhere else in the USA.
Yep I too started hobbying by doing the safest and surest thing: visiting the perfectly legal and (supposedly) clean with minimal health-risk Nevada brothels. It's been decades since I went into one too.
No, and in fact they've gotten even more expensive based on my sources. I still have a few friends who frequent the NV brothels, since they need to play legal due to their careers. That's probably the only reason why some prefer the NV brothels vs. seeing indies, except for those who may have a brothel visit on their bucket list. The legal brothels are a niche market, so they can't compete in regards to prices and activities that we get from the indie/escorts.
I also got my starts at the NV brothels, years ago, before discovering TER. The same brothel rules still apply today and the law requires condoms for all sex acts, so no BBBJs. Actually I would be very unhappy if state legalized escorts or brothels. Once A state legalizes something they can apply taxes, licenses, and requirements. Escorts could essentially be driven out of business with an ever increasing licensing fee or imprisoned for not paying taxes. Many escorts in the business self police and regulate because they do not want to get a bad reputation and lose clients. A site like this is awesome, even though Johnny Law is aware, as long as we follow rules, no problems.
Only half of the money goes to the lady. The other half goes to the house. All rooms are "bugged," so someone in "management" always listens to the negotiation.
In addition to forking over half of the take, the lady must rent the room from the house. The lady also pays the house for meals.
If the bell rings for a line-up, and a lady not currently with a client misses that line-up (regardless of the time of day/night, i.e., even if she's asleep) she has to pay a "fine" to the house
