I was purging e-mails today (don't like to keep things too long especially that with private info), and I thought why not check to see those who have contacted me recently, but we never connected.

I noticed something interesting. About 40 -50% of those who contact me via e-mail requesting an engagement never respond when I request screening information. And I accept several methods, not just references or screening sites.

Oh well. I guess they thought I would require such things even though I spell it out on my website and make a point of it in almost all my ads. LOL


Guys, I know screening  - especially the first time - can be difficult. And even with references, some ladies are slow to respond so you miss your opportunity to meet a lovely lady.

So but it's easier than opening a bank account. See the bank wants all your info and history, will take you money upfront, charge your fees for taking your money and holding it, and in the end you get screwed without even coming.

Seems that not a week goes by that we don't learn of some individual or agency that got busted and the first thing you hear about is how the records were confiscated showing all the "clients" personal info, preferences, etc....   So while requests for screening may be well intentioned there are just too many cases where it can come back to haunt someone.....  Perhaps your statistics are a reflection of the number of potential visitors who are just not willing to entrust this info when it very well could come back to hang them... just my 02

I actually did my email purging about a week ago and noticed the same thing. Gentlemen who contact me, we chat, I then ask for the necessary SAFETY information and no more contact. Guys I don't know who you've seen in the past but any woman with half a brain is going to want to verify the man she potentially dates. How are we to know you aren't LE or a Psycho? By Verification! It makes the date go smoother and puts booth parties at ease. We as providers have just as much to lose as you do. We have personal identities and lives that need to be protected and when those aspects are respected its definitely reciprocated. In other words, I don't want you blabbing and vice versa. And in all actuality would you want to see someone who doesn't request this information? NO If she doesn't value her safety what makes you think she'll value yours. Come on Guys let's use the head that sits on your shoulders LOL.

Agreed. Hobbyists who think with the big head are the ones who stay away from the provider forms and keep their personal information away from them.
There are many many horror stories about hobbyists being outed and sometimes for stupid little things.
If a provider does not accept my references, then too bad. The money always leaves my wallet anyhow and I have no problems booking sessions.

 

There may be several ladies in your area that don't screen like professionals do.  And these guys proabably know this, so they probably say to themselves "why get bothered by screening" when other ladies 'don't really screen'.

I actually have a method of screening which does not require a gentleman to give me his life history.
I accept a 50% deposit along with a contact e-mail and phone number as screening. I give gentlemen 4 options. References, Screening site, Personal info or a deposit.

LE would never fork over money, and I have another way to filter out the crazies which I won't reveal here (trade secret).

So  no whining about about being "outed" as it isn't really an issue with me. A deposit will do. Don't want to go that route either then you are probably in the wrong hobby - as this one is much like poker. You have to PAY TO PLAY.

And in case this didn't occur to anyone, guys instead of not responding you could tell a lady you are uncomfortable providing so much personal info and ask if she has alternative screening. She could say no, but you haven't lost anything.
