I couldn't do it.  I wouldn't tell anyone about the incident, but I couldn't do it.  It's difficult to even role play that scenario, for me.  It was drilled into my head that relatives; cousins, siblings, in-laws, whatever type of family relation, was strictly off limits.  It wasn't a cruel punishment kind of drilling, but the fear of mentally challenged or retarded babies was used as a conditioning tool to form the aversion.
