Set to the tune of "Are you Lonesome Tonight" (And, btw, NO! I'm not!!!)
Does this ring any bells...Let's just say it's a providers lament...with all good reason....Here goes...
Are you freed up tonight…I say it’s only right,
Because I’ve patronized you in the past.
Make some time just for me,
And make certain it’s for free…
After all, you owe me this at last.
You never know when I'll stop patronizing you (it won't last)…
So be true to your future, it's based on your past
But that’s all you’ll get from me,
After all, you owe me free….. time with you…
Because that's why I paid you...
(Once again,)
You know that is why I came to you... (you can pay me back forever....ahahah)
This is dedicated to the clients who KEEP forgetting that we ALREADY GAVE YOU Wwhat you paid for (our attention, time, our bodies, the intimacy and privilege to delve into our personal spaces).
We too have lives and struggle to keep up with everyday things
Maybe your wives are off doing all your laundry and stuff (HEHEH, I'm doing your laundry too, or did you forget) So how is it you have all this time on your hands...obviously you aren't doing any laundry...)
Any guys into doing laundry we can roll in the hay while the previous clients sheets take a tumble.. but there will be a price to pay on my big four poster.

Sounds like you had a bad day(s). Nothing personal but no matter how valid your complaints (and I'm sure they are) in the service world (any service not just the hobby) the customer rarely will sympathize with a complaint of how hard it is to deal with customers. Catch 22; you can't complain to the people you're complaining about. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
that in your CLASSIC straights as you were taught in consumer relations 101, you would not use your REAL name. Get over your arrogance, I do get to vent. I am NOT marketing.

just to continue with the marketing references.
By confirming the worst aspects of what most of us already think providers really feel about us- even when we pay them extremely well for their trouble, you're hurting ALL providers on this board. Alias or not.
I think the previous poster gave you good advice, but you saw fit to insult him. Of course you're entitled to say anything you like, but bitching about the clients who pay your bills, and the bills of all the ladies on this board, has no upside to either you or them.
And if you think it doesn't matter, I know many guys who used to be very active but now hobby much less because the attitudes expressed on this board just turned them off- I'm one of them. Voting with your wallet is the only option available to us and I went from seeing an escort once a week to only once or twice a year. I just got tired of subsidizing people whom I felt had developed an entitlement attitude and thought they deserved more money than any other job category yet, at the same time, were contemptuous of the people who gave them thier business.
We all have bad clients, bad bosses, and bad days. But few of us see the wisdom of posting it on the company bulletin board for all to see.

...you ignorant slut. Big Akroyd fan, couldn't resist, now continue on with your important debate.
I don't actually understand "luv`nlife's" or "Counterpoint's" issues and advice as per the original post by "Sssssssssssssst".
Mr Luv'nlife's statement of "you can't complain to the people you're complaining about" seems odd to me, the original post seemed to be about clients expecting free time from a lady because he has in the past been a paying customer. Now, unless the implication is that all the guys posting here do this or that it is correct to do so, I'm not sure how that's complaining to who she is complaining about.
As for Mr Counterpoint's counter, how is saying "I don't like a guy expecting a free session because he has previously had a paid session" confirming the worst aspects of what the ladies think of their clients. Unless you or the person reading is one that pushes for time off the clock after on previous occassions having paid for services rendered, I am not sure how her post says anything about what she thinks of you or them.
As for the good advice from Mr Luv'nlife, granted telling her that the guys will have no sympathy might be good, I guess. To know that criticism of what would be seen as bad clients (ie those that want time off the clock because they have in the past paid for time on the clock, and threaten to not pay for on the clock time again if they do not receive the off the clock time) will be seen as criticism of all clients and not be welcomed is valuable for a lady to know.
That there is supposition on the part of Mr Luv'nlife and Mr Counterpoint that posts by ladies are all marketing, and if they have clients that don't respect them as business people it is apparently their advice to the ladies to accept that, and act happy about it and say how much they enjoy the guys that treat them that way or else the guys will stop hobbying or curtail their involvment to once or twice a year.
The reference to the "clients that pay your bills", well paid them at least in the past but want it for free now, would be a more correct statement I think. Would you be saying the same thing to a restaurant owner who had patrons that showed up on a busy night, or at night after the restaurant had closed, and said they deserved a table and to be served for free because they paid to eat their on past occassions?
Do you and Mr Luv'nlife assume that if on a messageboard for say, electronics retailers and customers if a retailer complained about shoplifters all the customers would immediately think it were about them and tell the retailer how they may never shop at their establishments, or any electronics retailers, again because clearly that retailer, by not liking shoplifters, doesn't like any of their customers? That the complaint about shoplifters just confirms customer's worst suspicions as to how all the electronics retailers really see them and so will not shop ever again or if they still have to shop do so very infrequently?
I thought she made a reasonable statement about some not so nice clients. Perhaps her problem was in being creative with how she did so, maybe some folks couldn't figure out the words to her satirical song. If I had to give her advice for posts in the future it would be the old business adage, "no one ever went broke by underestimating the public's intelligence", but I wouldn't want to dispense that advice as I enjoy posts that show more creativity and can speak to a serious issue with wit.
I do find part of your post, Mr Counterpoint, quite ironic though.
QUOTE:"felt had developed an entitlement attitude"
When her original post was about clients that had developed entitlement attitudes and thought they deserved free time because after all they had paid for time before. So you find ladies with entitlement issues distasteful, but ladies that find client's with entitlement issues distasteful are also not good in your opinion?
I don't think Miss Sssssssssssssst's original post was out of line, I don't think it deserved a lesson in marketing, and I don't think her perhaps assuming that good clienmts might sympathise with her that outrageous an idea. Unless of course all the guys that post here do what she is complaining about, it wasn't about you, or Mr luv'nlife, or any other poster. It was a specific complaint about a specific type of client, that she would be told that would be unwelcome by the community at large or at least the men of it, does seem odd to me though. Maybe it is a big us against them thing, and they guys will stand against a lady no matter how valid her point? Nah, I don't think so, or I at least hope not, I know of some good guys here that wouldn't say "you'll cost yourself and all the ladies business if you complain about anything, and everything you say had better be geared to the ego stroking of all the guys or you're ruining it for everyone".
One quick final thing, I did make this post under the supposition that both you, Mr Counterpoint, and Mr Luv'nlife actually understood Miss Sssssssssssssst's original post. If that is not the case and all you wrote was out of a failure to comprehend her satire....then......nevermind. *grin*
Frankly, I found it so poorly written as to be painful to read. So I'll admit, after two attempts to get through it I ended up skimming it for content and may have missed part of her point as a result.
But I've got two Masters degrees, Mr. Web Terrorist, so I don't think I've got a comprehension problem. I just find some of the stuff posted on this board to be a real challenge to read. Of course, this isn't a creative writing class so maybe I'm being a bit harsh.

"Are you freed up tonight…I say it’s only right,
Because I’ve patronized you in the past.
(this seems to indicate a desire for the client to see a lady on short notice and think that he has a "right" to as he has seen her before)
________________________________________________
Make some time just for me,
And make certain it’s for free…
After all, you owe me this at last.
(this seems rather straight forward to me. He wishes her to take an appointment when she wasn't planning on working, the "make some time just for me" makes this evident.
The next line "and make sure it's Free" tells that he is requesting to not have to pay.
The part about her "owing him at last speaks to the notion of entitlement)
________________________________________________
You never know when I'll stop patronizing you (it won't last)…
So be true to your future, it's based on your past
(This stanza seems to be saying that he is making the threat of not seeing her for pay again, if she does not come through with the last minute freebie)
________________________________________________
But that’s all you’ll get from me,
After all, you owe me free….. time with you…
Because that's why I paid you...
(this stanza reiterates what has been previously stated but adds the idea of the only reason he ever paid for her services was so that he could get free time with her)
________________________________________________
(Once again,)
You know that is why I came to you... (you can pay me back forever....ahahah)"
(This final bit has the conotations that he, from a sense of entitlment, demands her to come through with freebies or extra time and other perks so long as he decides to do "business" with her since he was a client previously he expects her to now and continually put forth her services for free to "pay him back" for having paid her in the past, and that that was the only reason he ever did pay her)
_________________________________________________
The last part of her post was about the fact that she had already given the client what he had paid her for, the reference to laundry, I assume, was metaphorical for all of those things she has to do in her day to day life, that he was not considerate of when he asked her to give him an appointment that evening (this refers back to the first line in the satirical song, about it being only right for her to make time for him), with an added implication that maybe he has free time and doesn't have all those chores because his wife is doing them for him. The final line of her post basically is saying if a guy is ok with her doing laundry and her chores he can come over, but he still will have to pay her for use of her bed.
Hope this helps clear her post up for you.
I didn't find it at all painful to read, I wasn't confused, and I only had to read it once to understand it.
I am surprised in your "skimming" you didn't catch all the mentions of "free" "owe me" and the like. Oh, and you didn't miss part of her point, but the entirty of it.
I take it neither of your degrees were in English...I'm gonna guess Business and maybe Accounting? *grin*

If you remember sis, I went to bean counter school...you saying I can't read?
You, sir, really are spending way too much time on this and have taken far too keen of an interest in this topic.
I can only assume you know the provider and are acting on her behalf. If not, then you're now moving into the obsessive-compulsive area. But that's only a layman's observation. You don't need to annotate a medical book page by page, paragraph by paragraph to prove me wrong.
Counterpoint has left the building and isn't likely to return any time soon. Yikes!
BTW, have you ever considered fillng your time with a real relationship?
You paid for it and you also sucked another guy's cock when you went for DATY. Live with it.

I can then lay in the sheets with you. There's nothing like fresh warm sheets right out of the dryer. Hmmmm.
BTW, I love to hear about the inner musings of you goddesses' minds. Makes me want to see and get to know you more.
I gladly give thanks to WebTerroist who ...you had the patience and tolerance to do what I gave up on doing....trying to educate. Sad that counterpoint had to accuse you (WT)of having no life and of speaking for me...so sad. I have no clue who you are. Bu t thank you for taking the trouble that simply exhausts and frustrates me. If someone can't understand what I'm saying then he has no valid point from which to criticize... heheheh.
Mr Fisher you have a sense of humor (thank God). Ciara, Phx. glad you found something entertaining. Maybe I cannot quit my day job to be a comedian, butttttt...
My apologies for offending luvnlife, but you did lose the whole point of the satire. Did I mention You? Am I not a human allowed to hurt? And I would venture you a hefty gamble that I speak the heart of many many ladies. Search your own soul let accusing remind you to look back at yourself.
As for the man who says he frequents ladies much less, think about the ladies who also quit...no surpise... this is a volatile arena... Some of us cannot face the pain. Yes, your escape can suddenly appear as your nemesis.
After all is said and done, I suspect that there is a huge guilt factor going one here. Doubletime your S/o, but since you give us $, we should shut up and swallow. N'est-ce pas??
As for me biting the hand that feeds, that is N/A since I am nigh to retiring, so that is perhaps why I can perhaps finally find the nerve to speak.
Guys, we ladies are not trash. And we do NOT think of you that way, and if you treat us that way, well, sometimes you just don't know unless we complain to the people we are complaining about.
Good Night.
