Of course I have to screen them well.  But, I've met a few men that didn't even know they could meet a beautiful woman online and order her up for a sure thing.

I do not mention my career as an escort, because I don't want to disclose the identity of TER hobbyists / clients, who follow and Tweet to me.  I personally, don't think it's a wise choice to Tweet about escorting, but that is my humble opinion.

I have a diverse group of followers, from my various careers, and I adore Twitter flirting with ALL of them!

And maintains an easy web presence in the community outside of TER. I think most men have a second profile that they use to communicate with us ladies and I have had decent inquiries from gents local and national . For hobbiest it's a good way to catch day to day with your providers.
Thanks for bringing up the social media subject I was kind of curious myself chances are we probably wount be Linkdin friends ; )

Hardly a day goes by without me reading about some bigwig becoming undone on account of some faux pas committed on social media.
Given how insideously these networks attempt to connect all elements of our lives with others, and how important it is for us to keep a separation between our hobby and RL selves, I'd avoid these as much as possible.

Great Post. I started a thread about two weeks ago about how most young people will be outed because of social media. No matter how many precautions you take there are "bot" programs all over social media.

Once something is on the internet it is forever. It is very hard for people under 50 to NOT have social media if they are looking for a job or promotion. Sooner or later the hobby pages are likely to be connected to personal pages. I don't use social media for anything.

So, this is what 1984 looks like, only 32 years after Orwell predicted it

I'm connected with a few providers on Twitter, although I don't know why. Every day I get a photo of the breakfast of one or more of them, a "Goodbye [insert city here]! It was fun!" or, not often enough, a selfie boob shot

It seems like you need better Twittering! ;)  So on Saturday, I'll Twitter you (not by name, but you'll know it's for you) a few of my webcam booby photos. :D

Thank you very much, PRS2005! xoxo  I'm sleepy and going to bed now, but I'll be naughty Twittering, later today. ;)

both discreet and discrete. I don't have a RL twitter, nor a Sarah FB. But I absolutely adore twitter!! I wish I'd saved it for my RL, because it is just so amazingly fantastic to be able to read blurbs from all my favorite publications as and when I like! I'm totally in love with it. It's a great way to keep up with the stories and things I love to read and know about! I feel very informed after spending a few minutes skimming my twitter feed. But it is a time-sucker. And I've bookmarked more articles than I've read, sadly. In time...

ETA- I also love connecting with the other ladies (and men) out there, all over the world!

tbh i don't have a real life twitter, but i have a political blog i've written under a pseudonym for over 13 years and i twitter under that name.

In regards to the hobby and social media, I would never use Facebook to connect with providers or other hobbyists.  It's too public, but I use it to keep in touch with family and friends who are located all over the USA and abroad.

I have a separate Twitter account for the hobby.  I'm following a few providers, TER, RS2K, P411, a few pornstars, etc.  Although, I'm not sure how useful it is, since it's too public to be tweeting sensitive information considering the nature of this hobby.

For non-hobby use.. late breaking news, weather, sports, etc. often hits the social media like Twitter before you hear about it on your local news.  So it's not a total waste of time for some users.

I am rather outspoken about the dangers of social media.  Search the General Board for "nefarious, plague, insidious, pernicious" [Any of these words] for the past couple of years and you are sure to find my posts.

Those threads often have examples of the unexpected and undesired cross over of this world and the real world.

The goal of social media is to connect everyone, WHETHER THEY WANT TO BE CONNECTED OR NOT. Although our hobby and real life personae are intimately connected within us, social media will take the LONG way around to eventually link Hobby-self to RealLife-self passing and connecting to as many people as possible along the way.

Don't be naive about Personal Settings or Privacy Settings within one or another app. The whole network interacts in much more complex ways, picking up cookie trails and other leavings.

Avoid Social Media.

I was going to post this same message on Twitter, but - you guessed it - I don't have a twitter account

Jus kiddin!  It's the freakin weekend

A client had suggested I get one actually! I think it's a cute way for those who are curious to find out about what us escorts do outside of the bedroom, and also I'm finding it to be a nice way to connect with other girls.

Because they are most likely close minded. IMHO. I've found that Twitter can be a lot of fun. U can talk to celebrities. Learn things, and frankly, pass the time. I don't tweet a lot, but lots of time u can get ur point across to people whether u love or hate them. Example: I was able to tell the good ole Howard Stern what a narcissistic piece of shit he is! I know he seen it cause after reading it, he blocked me! Lol. Do I care? Hell no! But at least I told him! Felt great! And that's just a small example! Lots of educated things on Twitter. Give it a chance, u just might enjoy it!

As far as Twitter and escorts, I check out their Twitter accounts all the time if they leave the link to Twitter and Instagram in sight

I love being able to post funny memes and photos and have a banter back and forth.  It's fun for the down time that all of us ladies can run into while travelling.  It is great unmoderated comedy!

Twitter me here,
twitter me there,
twitter me just about anywhere!

First off, ur so SEXXXY I'd love to get on more than ur Twitter. Haha. But seriously, wait, no that was serious. Anyway, to get 5k followers is tough. U need lots of friends and post everything u can. Lots of sexy pics, lots of retweets, lots of controversial comments that people love etc... Someone like u certainly has the ways and means to do it. But ur average person, uh no. It's strictly a popularity contest. That's why celebs get so many followers. Ur average person usually gets about 50-100 followers. Just cause we have a limited amount of friends. But guys will follow anything sexy! Especially a hot woman!

Good luck! And remember, post post post and retweet as much as possible!

and Twitter. I avoid both like the plague for that reason.

For me, Twitter has been great in the same way that TER is great.  It's a fantastic cure for boredom, I can connect with and learn from other providers, I'll occasionally get new clients from there, and it's free! Also, it's put an end to people emailing me asking if I'm "real" and insisting that I send them candid photos to prove it.

Instagram, on the other hand, is mostly a huge waste of time. 99% of messages and comments I receive do absolutely nothing for my business.  At this point I only use it about once a week, if I remember, and usually just spend the whole time scrolling through sexy lingerie I want to buy and meals I'd love to eat lol.

Facebook I don't even touch.  They're just waaaay too good at making connections between you and people they think you might know.  Last thing I need is my old high school boyfriend popping up in my suggested friends list, or worse, me showing up in someone else's.

All that other stuff-- Snapchat, Kik, Tumblr, whatever-- I'm too out of touch to even understand lol.  I'll leave that for the 15-21 set lol.

I've had several clients tell me their decision to book was based off my Twitter feed. Yay!

If I were a provider, I would most likely use Twitter.   Hell why not, if I have a web site I am already out there.  But I'm not a provider and I prefer to remain private in my hobby.
I use Twitter for real time comments on breaking events or sporting events BUT not for the hobby.  I barely use Instagram now and avoid Facebook like the plague.  These online entities are too intrusive for me to  mix hobby with real life.
