Looks like X/Twitter is limiting reach for content marked sensitive, and requiring NSFW creators to mark it Sensitive.
.
X might dry up as an advertising platform for escorts.

I was in Twitter jail for over a year & when I was allowed back it was not the same. Hashtags used to catch a huge crowd. Not anymore. I believe the sites ultimately going to be a paid site. Things aren’t what they used to be, so it’s time to evolve. Create.

Make it a great weekend! I’m off to be a fabulous sports 🏀 Mommy! Life is good. Smile & be grateful.

X has been limiting the reach of content that is marked sensitive and requiring NSFW creators to label it accordingly for some time; some even have permanent "sensitive content" bans where you have to actually agree that you want to view their profile before following. However, it's important to note that this does not mean that NSFW content is no longer allowed on the platform. If you're a fan of certain creators who produce adult content, you can still follow them and see their posts. Twitter is simply taking steps to ensure that sensitive content is properly labeled so that those who don't wish to see it can avoid it. As long as you're following your favorite NSFW creators, you won't miss out on any of their content.

This isn't something we haven't seen before. Instagram, for example, made similar changes a few years ago, and with Meta acquiring them, they've become even more strict in the past six months. At least they tell which content to take down to get account back in good order. While this might make it harder to advertise certain content, I think social media is here to stay as an advertising venue. We just need to evolve how we advertise and move towards more SFW content. It's going to be exciting to see how we push the creative envelope.

One thing I saw mentioned was that the reach limitation also involved search.  I don't know exactly what that means.  I don't know what the search function on twitter is, other than I've put in names of people I am looking for.

Sounds like you dont know what you are talking about. Not sure why you would start a thread about it lol.

We have had to mark many of our photos as sensitive for a while now, or X will mark that content as sensitive themselves.

I heard a while back the eventually all subscribers are going to have to pay. If/when that happens we are out.

Yes - you can be "search suggestion" and "search banned".

- Search suggestion ban causes an account to not show up in search suggestions. When you follow someone on X, the platform will then suggest people for you to follow. Essentially, the person is being blocked from being search suggested.

- Search ban: causes your Twitter account to be hidden from Twitter's Search function, meaning none of your tweets will show up there, not even when using hashtags. So you could essentially type in someones username in the search bar and it won't populate at all. Now REPLIES to that person's tweets will populate.

Hope this helps!

Misinformation, disinformation, lies, and distortions of world events is “free speech,” but sexual content’s a problem for Musk. Uggh!

that are allowed to post topless pics, dick pics, vag shots, buttholes with objects inserted, actual penetration, and much more. If I post anything with half of an areola showing or my buttocks in view, they slap on the sensitive content warning!

So I'm still waiting for X to "evolve" in a consistent manner!

X has about 500 million Xeets per day.  Most "enforcement" is therefore based on automatic algorithms.  Musk says the code is complex and hacked together over the years.  It's sounds like they are re-writing it from scratch, but that'll probably take a long time, if true.

A friend told me that the difference is that porn stars and o/f models are allowed to post explicit photos and videos on X, but escorts are not. Not sure she’s 100% correct, but she does have an o/f account and she does post explicit porn clips so she certainly knows more than I do.

That could explain the perplexed look on your face when someone asks you a vocal question.

But do they also have o/f? Many escorts do.

I do have an interest in gynecology as a hobby, so vag pics are okay with me.    Lol
