Doesn't bother me, as long as the pictures are accurate. And then there's ter age, which is 5 years younger then the ladies actual age.

I frequently find that--the lady is actually older--to be a pleasant surprise, since I prefer more mature ladies, ladies that have sufficient age to have been "around the block a few times" and are comfortable with themselves and others.  What bothers me the most--and this really annoys me--is to find out that the pictures of a lady on the web are not very faithful to the reality before me when I walk through the door for the first time, unless, of course, the lady is much more beautiful than her pictures, which is frequently the case. But I have not always had such good fortune.

I've seen too many ladies who claimed to be 35 who are closer to 50, I now won't see anyone who claims to be over 30. Figuring if she says she's 28, she's probably 33, which is ok.  One well known lady I met said she was 39, I met her and thought no way she is younger than 48. I could barely get through it and shouldve left. I later found out she was 53.

A lot is marketing. Most is that a lot of ladies severely underestimate how youthful they think they are. Reality is tough but I appreciate honesty.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, I'm in my late 30s and don't date 40+ women in real life, and certainly not in a P4P situation.

I say please make sure the site has UP TO DATE photos!  Not sure how you can do that...but, also look at reviews!

The age number seldom seems likely to be accurate. 5-10 years under is probably more the rule than the exception.

But because I factor that stuff in when making my decisions, it doesn't bother me.

If she sucks, and her attitude doesn't, I'm happy.

I've had ads that I don't even remember placing that say I'm 39 years old.  Some say 45. I've tried to find most of them to correct them. However, honestly, I don't have time to go to every site -- some of which I didn't even give permission to list me under -- to change my age.  If a gentleman isn't sure, there's no harm in asking.  I don't have a problem telling my age.  I also don't show my face on my website, and my body is about the same, maybe better, than when I had my pics taken, so there's no point in constantly updating my pics.  This is only part time for me and most of my clients are repeat offenders. Just kidding. LOL

A year or two, no big deal. 5 or more years is deceptive.
I don't care what you look like either. You may look good for your age but when I want a 25 year old, that's what I want.

What I can't understand is why so many of the MILF's who say they are proud of their age still lie about it. If "you" are so comfortable with it  please update your profiles. (Yes I asked this to be done in the past).

I am not at all one of those guys who only digs young hotties. I have knowingly seen providers older than me. Enjoyed them immensely. No problem.

So I have zero issue with ladies being older. I like 'em; just like I like 'em a bit younger.

But there are two problems.

The first is pervasive dishonesty about age. It is detrimental in that it creates an environment in which honesty from escorts ISN'T EVEN EXPECTED.

Don't expect to pervasively lie to men about your age by reporting yourself to be a decade+ younger than you really are; and then wonder why they are a bit hesitant to give you their VERY REAL information for purposes of verification.

(I am not saying you shouldn't verify like crazy. You SHOULD. But I am also saying that this job becomes easier if you establish a web of trust; and pervasive dishonesty runs contrary to the establishment of such a web.)

The second problem is that dishonesty on this scale creates an environment in which honesty is punished.

Believe it or not, there are providers who actually tell the truth about their age.

Because of the youth-bias of hobbyists, when a provider who is honest is compared to a provider who is dishonest about her age; the dishonest woman wins.

I am not talking about a comparison of actual visits; but rather when guys set search criteria when searching reviews to find someone interesting. If he has set a maximum age criteria, it can include women who lie about their age while excluding women who are every bit as good, but tell the truth.

This creates an environment in which honesty from an escort is penalized and dishonesty is incentivized.

And the problem is that just one or two escorts getting an attack of conscience and correcting their profile won't help; because then THEY will be penalized.

This problem with escorts lying about their age is SO pervasive at this point that the few older ladies who tell the truth get hurt when compared to women the same age who lie.

I really don't care if she is 20, 30 or 50... Since this is a big area for photo re-touching, and an important area for me... if the photos show nice smooth skin, and she has major skin blemishes I will reflect that in my review, and maybe knock off a point (more if it's bad).

It's the same for portrayal of weight.

Some providers complain about being judged on appearance, but this is a business of appearance, and many of these same ladies are fudging numbers or photos. Yes, pictures are taken to show a provider in the best light, so to speak. But if it clearly hides something, then it is mis-leading, IMO.

I am a truth in advertising kind of guy. WYSIWYG. I do not take well to "deceptive advertising". There are tolerable limits for this (hiding a scar, etc.). I do not necessarily expect physical perfection. I do expect honesty.

I'm with hound dog...I don't care how old a woman says she is...if she says her pictures are current but are really 10 years old then that's a significant issue, more often than not!

i also agree that, as "consumers" we need to be realistic in comparing pics to actuals.  With filters, lighting, make-up, and photo-shop the woman truly are shown in their best "light".  Seeing them in person there has to be an expectation that they won't look as good.

I feel younger than my age...guess that's what it is!  

Saw an attract lady - very toned at 40 yrs old in her pics. When I went to see her, she was definitely older and not as tone, and she said she's 45 yrs old. Worst of all, she was missing some side teeth (probably 4).  Won't go back.

Of course, this phenomenon isn't limited to providers, or even to modern times.  When looking at census reports from my ancestors, it's common to see women age only 6-8 years, while during the same period of time the men grow 10 years older.  

This confused the heck out of me when I first started family research.  "Did he have two wives with th same name?  Must have, otherwise she would have been 5 when the first child was born."

In my experience, almost every single provider I have been with advertised their age as 5 or more years younger than her actual age, so I ALWAYS assume someone I haven't seen yet is at least 5 years older. In my case though, I am 100% fine with that because I rarely ever even look at a provider who posts her age as in her 20's, my preference is a more mature woman, in my opinion, they are just much better lovers...  One of my ATFs is one of the few who posts her real age and she looks at least 10 years younger than her real age and could easily advertise herself as that!  YMMV.... I'll be 37 in September.  However due to the assumption that all ladies lie about their age, I'm sure there are men who will assume I am 45.  

However, since the men who visit with me like their ladies a bit more mature, I don't see it as much of an issue.  At least, not until I'm *actually* 45 lol!

I recently saw a provider that was 10 yrs. older in person than her pics.  She still looked good, and I never even thought about backing out. But I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to
seeing the girl in the photos.  I won't see her again.

I've had two general experiences---a 40 plus lady who actually does look younger, and has the sexual intensity to burn you up with pleasure.  Others, the same age, for whom time has not been kind and I couldn't even get it up.  So, if between your looks and sensuality guys jump to attention in nanoseconds, advertise younger.  If the latter is not true, then I don't know----try to set the spell from the first moment and depend on the guy's hormones to overcome the age barriers?
