Negative Review?

What's the opinion on leaving negative reviews for a no-show date? Would it change anything if a hotel was booked for specifically the visit? What about if there was no apology, follow up or offer to reschedule?

I know and understand some of this is the cost of doing business but this has happened twice to me with upper end, well reviewed ladies.

The only time TER allows reviews where you didn’t actually meet the lady is if she scammed you. If you made a deposit and she ghosted and didn’t refund, you can. No show doesn’t cut it. That said, it should IMO. If a provider allows you to book the date and then doesn’t show, that should fall in a similar ballpark.

Based on recent events, I know the argument might be what if she learned something that makes her feel unsafe? By all means be safe. But unless you got legit proof he’s a psychopath, at least message him and cancel. Without solid proof, you have to consider you may be wrong and may be dicking a good guy. It’s pretty fucked up if he is a good guy and he books a hotel, shows up with the money, and is left just waiting and not knowing.

Then I think you can leave a review to warn others.
But don’t fuck it up by saying in your review that she O’d ten times😂😂

Agree with this and no deposit was asked for or given. I just lost time due to scrambling my schedule and spending time on planning that I can’t get back.

Maybe I’m just too altruistic but it would be ideal if others were aware in some form or fashion.

I chuckled at the idea of being a psychopath and then realized that’s probably what a psychopath would do…it’s a bit of a catch 22..

As other's point out, if you never met then other than a rip-off report, you cannot submit a review (how could you put any score in for either category?). Whether or not once deserves an announcement of such an event -- and whether or not you want to wait a little rather than posting immediately -- is a call each needs to make. Then again, if that is something that would make someone never try booking again it's not like they will have the ability to give a second chance to see if ghosting is a pattern or just some one-off.

If you’re going to make an announcement on TER, my advice is to always wait. Personally, it would be at least a month for me. If it’s too close and she is alerted, she can match your TER handle to whatever IRL information you provided her. It could be a nothing burger, or she can try to come after you.

post about the incident here and on your/her local board. Keep it simple. "I booked a session with ____. She was a no-show. Beware that she may be unreliable."

Waiting a month is pretty lame and useless. If you're afraid of repercussions don't bother saying anything. Saying "I got ghosted" and nothing more isn't helping anyone.

leaving a negative review under the circumstances you describe, even if TER allows it, which they probably won't.  As others have said, you can name her on this board, which conceivably could be seen by a few thousand members over the course of a month, but at the very least, I would caution you about recommending her to your friends and family members after being treated like this.

If she has your personal information, a board post or negative review right after it occurred can get ugly. I have had providers harass me after. I had several share my personal information online in place where other providers look. And, I had one blackmail me, and follow through on her threat when I didn't comply. So yeah, my safety comes first. But I have not wavered in my honesty. I still post negative reviews when it's fitting. I just wait a little to make sure I am distancing myself. So far, 100% of the time they were still active/getting bookings. So, I respectfully disagree that it's not at all helpful.
