It's pretty obvious from the various threads here, and on other boards as well, that guys clearly lie about their experiences. Whether it's fake reviews or writing about experiences/opinions in the threads, it becomes quite clear very quickly when people are full of shit. For instance, a troll here that has built up quite a reputation in the past 2 months has made it quite clear that he has never seen a pornstar (or probably even an escort in general), however he rides the coattails of other legit hobbyists and regurgitates what they say. This moron pretty much cost me an opportunity to see a pornstar that was visiting my area because he made it sound like he had some inside information, but really, it was nothing at all. By the time he answered, it was too late.
On another board that is pretty active for my region, a guy on there recently made the claim that he had dated the "top 10 kgirls" for several years, even though there were a lot of holes in his story. He started to throw out some names and I realized some of those girls only visited my area a handful of times. He claimed that he's hobbied in Korea, but when I asked him about it and I gave a few examples of my own experiences there, he couldn't give me any details. He randomly gave a recommendation for seeing an Asian "pornstar" (she only did 2 films), but claimed that date was mediocre, yet still said "here's your chance to see an $800/hr Asian pornstar." Even on this board, there was one infamous kgirl fan that clearly was not seeing the number of kgirls he claimed to see (verified that he had posted fake reviews) and he had claimed to have dated kgirls before. What's the point?
I honestly scratch my head wondering why people do this. What's the point? It's not like you're going to get a medal or anything. It's kind of sad and pathetic if your real life is so bad that you need to puff up your chest on a poon board. When people post fake reviews or give false info, it doesn't help anyone. It's a waste of time, or in my case, a wasted opportunity. If you have nothing of real value or substance to bring to the table, don't make shit up. At this point, seasoned members know enough when you're full of shit.

When you said this guy is short on "details" about the providers he has seen, I knew immediately who you were talking about. He even posts on this board advocating for LESS detail in TER reviews across the board. In my experience, guys not wanting to give specific details because of "privacy" concerns is just a cover for writing fake reviews. I have him pegged as just a wannabe keyboard jockey pretending to be a monger. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Yeah, this guy randomly showed up on the East Coast forum a few days ago and, I guess wanting to be cool or something, just started writing these posts about how he's dated a whole bunch of kgirls and how he's sort of this pooning guru that has come to save us. I still don't get why he recommended an Asian (not Korean) provider that he claims has zero personality, but wants us to see that is $800/hr... all because she's a "pornstar" (measly 2 scenes). With regards to legit reviewers though, CDL is the man. No denying it. And anyone he vouches is going to be legit as well.
I feel like the last few years have really brought out the weirdos. I have noticed that more and more men are lying in their reviews because well they can... And it is usually over something stupid like that I will not see them for whatever reason (I have my reasons), I charge “too much”, I am not available on short notice (I am not a pizza delivery service!), they want me to be exclusive to them (like really?), etc. The list goes on.
It’s one thing to warn others of providers who scam, rob, blackmail, spread diseases, etc but it is another when you totally make shit up because you got your feelings hurt that such and such escort will not agree to see you or agree do certain things for you. I know this to be true because I have had both Potentional clients and former clients threaten to leave a bad review on me for such and such reason.
It is a big problem now because more and more people know of review boards so you have clients, ex bf’s, jealous bf’s, and whoever else that can make up a username and spread false information. It happens more than you think.
On the regional review board from where I'm originally from, we noticed that the weirdos started coming out when BP got busted. It was then when all the cheap weirdos started coming to our regional review board and it just went to shit from there.
With regards to the bad review extortion... yeah, it's absolute horseshit. The saddest, most pathetic idiots would do the "if you don't give me BBFS, I'll write a bad review." Basically the review blackmail. So dumb. Hopefully the ladies are able to share information and warn others about morons like this.
I totally agree and noticed this as well. After the whole Fosta/Sesta fall out/backpage being shut down the weirdos came out of the woodworks in full force! And to be honest I feel like things never went back to “normal”. It is hard to describe but the whole scene, mood, energy, or whatever you want to call it has changed...A lot of women, including myself, are choosing to conduct buissness under the radar because of all the psychos that are out and about now.
Too bad sites do not have a way to verify if the reviewer actually saw such and such escort because anyone from Potentional clients, to jaded clients, to ex bf’s, stalkers, hell even agencies or other girls can easily create a username and make up something stupid to try and damage someone’s reputation. The whole thing is becoming/has become a big mess because this shit about lying on review boards is more prevalent than it was years ago. I guess assholes feel emboldened now because they know a lot of buissnes is dependent on reviews.
When a guy puts on a uniform or medals he didn't earn, they call that stolen valor. I guess some people want the public recognition without putting in the effort/sacrifices.

Most people (one would hope) come to this site to do research and find/share useful information. But there are plenty of fucked up people who get some kind of buzz from exaggerating their experiences, or completely making shit up, or just being a general troll. IMHO, the best way of dealing with such is to expose them loudly and quickly so as to keep them from misleading serious members in the kinds of ways you experienced. I don't think ignoring them is the answer since their fucked up mentality is often self-reinforcing. The reason non-fucked-up people scratch their heads at such behavior is because they can't really get into that headspace (which is actually a good thing).
I wish I could call out that guy on the other board, but it's the board with the mod with the notoriously itchy trigger finger for giving out infractions (we discussed it on the RO board). I would love to call him out, but it'll just get me another infraction lol.
