So samsung has been running ads for their new VR headsets showing people watching and then removing them. Looks like they all just had orgasms. The body is largely just a device to provide the sensory input and it that can come from a direct VR feed (Samsung, nor anyone else, to my knowledge doesn't yet have that) then yea, they can start charging the $ per hour and make a bundle.

I'm with you on the rather keep it real than go VR but at some point the actual pleasure experienced will be the same -- it will be the post clean up that ruins the VR fantasy ;-) But VR isn't there yet -- but may get there in our lifetime (good, bad? Don't know)

I've no doubt that tucked away in various hardware and software labs as we speak are people in lab coats feverishly working at a way to bring VR sex to the world, just give it time

The early days of the Internet were a golden age for the porn industry, and I believe most of the technology related to online payments originated in the porn world. Since the advent of torrent and tube sites the revenue streams of the porn industry have almost collapsed, so something like VR is the next logical step
