TER and P411 make it so easy to be an indi now, there are less and less agencies.  Agencies do a good job for girls that need that service.

1) Do bookers take too much of a cut?  What is reasonable?  10% of revenue?  Or 10% of earnings?  Or more?
2) How should bookers be compensated?  % of revenue or profits?  Does that incentivize bad behaviors such as poor screening?  What about hourly or weekly or monthly / flat fee? How should incentives align interests?
3) How much flexibility should you provide bookers to communicate on your behalf and to make decisions on your behalf?

No I am not talking about Mea! She was actually awesome, She introduced me to the industry. But we parted ways due to my hectic school schedule. Anyone that has seen me knows I've always been low key and never full time always had a civvy job and school obligations, there for always had an assistant/booker

Bookers are not necessary. If verification is an issue, you can just rely on P411 ok's and TER whitelist referrals. Or if time is an issue, just don't see a lot of clients.  If you have some time to respond to emails and check references, you can manage your own appointments. I can envision you successfully seeing new clients without bookers.
