So far I haven't heard of anyone taking a girl up on that guarantee either.

No thanks,  don't need the drama.

Well sort of ... so I was scoping out a few ads and came across an interesting ad that offered 50% off if the 1st date isn't one of your top 10 experiences EVER.  Hmm seemed Interesting but then I looked at the donation and it was $1K.   Then I saw reviews going back to 2007.  Hmm I thought to myself that  $500 appears to actually be much closer to fair market value - not $1K.  Curious what people think about this?  I like the advertising concept?  How would this work?  Could you imagine asking for half your donation back afterwards?

since Roman times.  Its called fictitious discounting.  You mark it up so you can discount it.  It appears you caught on to it.  Many guys wouldn't.  Macy's settled a class action last year over fictitious discounting.  Their advertising strategy for years was to say an item's regular price was $100, but its on sale for $50.  In discovery, on item after item, they failed to show that they had made a single sale on a long list of goods at the "regular price."  Had it gone to trial, they would have been hammered.  So the question here is, how many customers have actually paid the $1000 rate?  I would doubt there are any.   If there were, they would be complaining here about how  she fucked her existing customers with this new discount price.

...since 1969, and can agree that this is generally an effective advertising gimmick...as most people don't read the small print.

In p4p, I can see no way that this is enforceable by a dissatisfied client.

Remember Sears and "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back?"

I worked at Sears for 5 years (back in the 70s when it WAS "Where America Shops") and distinctly recall one of the head honchos explaining to me how that "guarantee" worked. "Sure, we tell 'em that but we make 'em jump through so many hoops that most of 'em give up."

Buena suerte!

There are so many full GFE women @500, 600, and playboy type models at $700 per. (At least here in Vegas anyway.) I see these visiting women or non-reviewed ones up to $1,200 per hour and some don't even LFK...

Agree.  LV is a super competitive market.  You just need to know where to look.

That sounds like some kind of SCAM. What's wrong with the "PROVIDER'S" service that she needs to discount it down? It sounds like she is desperate to get or steal clients from the other Providers.

with her service, but it has been three weeks and the "rash" has not gone away.  LOL

Then You need to get Checked out.Cause who knows what you got.

She is not discounting, per se.  She is saying that if she doesn't completely rock your world and you are not completely satisfied with the experience then you get half your donation back.

REAL rate is $500.  If anyone is stupid enough to pay the full price with this guarantee of a 50% discount, then she gets a windfall. Otherwise, she is expecting only $500 per trick.

She gets guys to "think" they are going to end up paying $500 for a $1,000 girl, but at the end of the session it's unlikely that one in ten guys are going to ask for the $500 back so in actuality the guys are "at best" going to get a $500 girl for the lofty price of $1,000 hr.

So who's the dumb one here? IMHO it's anyone who books with her in the first place.

I think it's actually a pretty smart marketing trick, but it only works on stupid people. Thankfully for her at least, even TER is full of some pretty fucking stupid johns. She also runs the risk of course of "turning off" other guys like you and me, but in all fairness I wouldn't book with her at any rate, she just really is NOT my type.

This. What cdl has described is different. What cdl mentioned is fake discount and it's preying on people who always buy things on sales. So, lower to middle class people. Scum tactics by major retailers like Macy's, JC Penny and such.

What this girl is doing is "quality guaranteed", ie you can get money back if she's bad. So she's betting on herself. The thing is, such policy is useless unless you're ensured that your money back is an actual guarantee. Good luck getting that money from her. Lol.
