I have paid as much as 1800 for the hr before, (pornstar)but it’s seems like donations keep going up, but the service is no better, I often think about how dropping more then I can get at a ATM in one day is crazy, I know advertising, hotels and other expenses for providers have gone up, but 500.00 for a hour is still awesome!
Is it just me or have provider cost gone through the roof the past couple of years? Its getting to a point where I am close to being priced out.
one provider I saw several years ago rates jumped 100%. ouch
Providers are in the “discretionary” bucket for me. Once they price themselves out of my comfort zone, I look more carefully. And if none are available, the internet and my hand are free...
I just don’t worry about things that I cannot control...
And, yes, prices have gone up (for everything, including milk).

hotels went up, advertising websites went up, gas went up, pretty much everything is up!
TurbayVeronica,
At least you get it. Most of the Hobbyists Bitch about how much we "The Providers" charge as if we "The Providers" should be a $2.00 whore (Just because they are somewhat cheap). The providers have to make a profit.
Some guys are inflation proof, guys doing 1K here or there ain't shit to them. So if this "Inflation" is cramping your style, then maybe it's time to either get out or look for that diamond in the rough and roll the dice.
Pretty much all the "fun" (clubbing, hobbying, cars, bikes etc) I have in life is paid for by 50% of my passive income. It's a rule in my life that I would never spend loosely with regular income, that's for living/saving/investing. I'm successful but not rich....no fuck you money yet. That said I'm pretty close to inflation/recession proof with my income streams. I'll drop more on providers this year than I made at my first really good job.
HOWEVER, just because I and others can afford to drop a few K per week on providers is NOT the reason they're raising prices.
a) at $800-1.5k per session I'm not seeing some random chick from whatever rub n tug site. So my inflation proof status doesn't affect them at all. If I do drive to the hood for pussy it'll be reflected in the price.
b) just because I've got money doesn't mean I am not price sensitive. If a provider raises her prices beyond what I think she's worth I won't return. If she goes over $800/hr she better be great. If she goes over $1k she better be great, her apartment better be great, her dog better be licking my balls while she's blowing me. At $1.5k or higher she better have figured out how I can pay her by check and I can write her off on my taxes.
c) if I find a girl who does for $500 what another girl does for $800....you bet your ass I'm going to the $500 one more often...and I definitely still look at price and seeing if their pics do the price justice.
In regards section b) where you mention the dog had better lick your balls, I had a situation like that with a past gf. Back in the mid 90’s I dated a gal who had a Jack Russel Terrier dog. I like dogs but this dog was annoying. Me and my gf would lay there after a session, then her dog would approach and began licking my balls. I would push the dog away while the gf did nothing nor said nothing. I was suspicious about the dog doing this to other men. When asking the gf, she would never comment.
There are online confessions out there where chicks let their dogs lick their vajayjays.
who admitted she let her little dog lick her pussy. She got a huge amount of flack. Then again, she claimed to be a former Bond Girl. Not sure if there's a connection.
raise their prices? Because they can.
Because someone doing something simply because they can, implies they dont give a fuck about anyone else. That's nothing to be proud of.
Why do the police kill unarmed folks? Because they can
Why do people lie to fellow mongers? Because they can.
Why do bums poop on the street? Because they can.
That's the hobbyists job. And btw, comparing a woman raising her rates to police murdering innocent African Americans is remarkably insipid and apples and oranges.
That's weird, I don't see anything about killing innocent African Americans. Are you sure you've read the correct post?
All I've said is that "because they can" is never a good answer to any question, ever.
It reeks of elitism, and takes pride in being able to not give a fuck about anyone else.
As far as providers go, I'm pretty sure it is always a sellers job to worry about making profit. You don't see Apple doubling prices of their product over half a month, do you?
Raising your rates because you can does NOT imply "they don't give a fuck about anyone else." It simply proves they understand they have pricing power and choose to use it. They are in business. Virtually everyone in every business tries to make the maximum profit they can. It's called Capitalism.
Once again, "because they can" is a non-answer to any question.
I postulate that any question can be answered much better than by saying because they can
In a free market that capitalism promotes, the prices are determined both by demand and supply. So they are determined by supplier and consumer equally. Raising the prices above equilibrium price actually diminishes profit.
that the girls who raised prices "because they can" were actually getting paid at the new higher rate. And everything you wrote seems to implicitly assume that, too.
I think I can sum up your point in one word . . . . . bullshit. Raising prices above equilibrium does not automatically diminish profits because raising prices will often shake out the marginal customers who may require more service at a greater per-transaction cost compared to the large customers. You merely create a new equilibrium point that is MORE profitable overall for the business. Your theory only works if you are trying to keep every customer regardless of their volume of business. I try to gradually weed out smaller customers when I can replace them with bigger customers. It may not work in all businesses, but it works for most. Small customers cost more overall to maintain compared to the revenue they generate.
To cite an example that you might understand . . . . . Whether the provider does her own booking or uses an agency, it takes no more work to book two hours than it does for one hour, but the two-hour generates twice the revenue stream, and therefore creates a more cost-effective and valuable customer for the business. This is why providers and their agents will often give priority to customers booking multiple hours over those booking a single hour. You like to blame the customer for this, but it's part of the concept of equilibrium that you brought up, and businesses are always seeking customers who can generate more revenue.
You admitted taking $800K from the Federal Covid PPP. And, while I don't recall the amount, I'm pretty sure you said you took another dip the second time around.
So your "Capitalist" business has been supported by the Gubmint.
Welcome to Socialism, Comrade!
directly from the bank into a dedicated payroll account administered by PayChex. All of the funds went to my employees so they could keep working through the pandemic. My alternative was to lay off 20-25% of my employees . Not one dime was used for anything other than worker salaries. Even though I was allowed to claim money for office rent, I didn't. I don't see how funneling government program money to my employees so they can survive the pandemic makes ME a Socialist. If you were in my shoes, would you have laid them off rather than accept the program money so they can keep their jobs? (It will be interesting to read your non-answer.) BTW, the PPP money only covered 20 weeks out of the year, including both draws. I had to take a 7-figure bank loan to keep them working for the rest of the year. You probably would not have put yourself on the line like that either. That's why my employee retention is exemplary. I take care of my people, whatever it takes.
I also used all PPP 100% for payroll. One of them wasn't even completely forgiven even though it was used 100% for payroll. I'm too tired to fight it.
But the real nightmare was I opened one of my businesses in Feb 2020. Had to close it from March 2020 until Apr 2021. Never received PPP for that one. Since a few of my employees moved states to help me open that I kept them on payroll even though there was nothing for them to do. I did however cancel my workers comp and disability insurance (NYS thing) since there was zero risk of work related injury. NY State slapped me with a $25k fine for operating a business without proper insurance. Been fighting it for 2yrs as this business still hasn't recovered from the lockdowns and is barely hanging on. Talk about .gov not giving a fuck when you do the right thing.
And then there is the ERTC nightmare where we had to pay taxes on stimulus money that still hasn't arrived after a year. Lmao, all these fucks talking about evil business owners haven't the slightest clue the sacrifices many of us made the last 2 yrs to do right by our people. Where's my stimmy check? All I got was high blood pressure and an ulcer.
Actually everything. But mainly he doesn't get that it's irrelevant if the money went directly to his employees. His business was still supported by the PPP along with whatever inherent value it has. Is he seriously suggesting he didn't benefit from this?
So anyone who benefits from massive government programs is, by definition, a Socialist.
You can run but you can't hide.
PS: I was actually joking about all this but you seem to have completely lost your sense of humor. Triggered much?
As a true capitalist I'd prefer not to pay taxes because it leads to inefficiency in a free market. However, as a true capitalist I will take that money back when given the chance. Would my businesses have survived without gov assistance during pandemic? Absolutely, but I would've definitely laid off a bunch of people. PPP did not benefit me, it did not make me more profitable, it did not boost my income, it only saved those who'd have been laid off.
And yes you're right it's one of the few topics that will trigger me, because after 2yrs of doing right by people I've never heard anything positive. It's always "what about worker safety" "putting profits before employee health". Like unemployment and the $1200 BS checks would've been better for my employees. People who've never put significant capital at risk to start a business will never grasp what happened. All the additional expenses incurred to ensure my staff/customers were safe. Dealing with all the bullshit mandates that changed overnight all the time. Product shortages. Damage during protests. All the while no additional protections for business, we still had to deal with all the same bullshit frivolous lawsuits, usual inspections etc etc. I'm still dealing with tax issues from 2020 because .gov keeps changing shit. The pandemic ended for most people but for small business owners it's still ongoing.
So yeah my sense of humor about that topic is non existent.
J.P. Morgan, the airlines, grocery stores, and restaurants all across the country are all Socialists now. That's a huge stretch, even by your standards. Do your social security checks make YOU a Socialist?
And, yes, all those businesses are socialists now.
As for Social Security, that's not all that makes me a Socialist. My political views do, too.
with confiscation of your wealth and redistribution to the needy until they have the same amount that you do? Or are you a pseudo-socialist like the Hollywood elites that have made their millions and can afford the luxury of being socialists as long as their wealth is secure?
But, no, actually I am OK with a FAIR tax code that's quite different to the one Trump passed that funnels more to the 1%. I'm OK with not letting hedge fund billionaires be taxed at long-term capital gains rates, not ordinary income rates.
If that's Socialism, sign me up.
Seriously, any "true" capitalist definitionally must take a cut out of those funds going to the workers.
Hope this sub-thread dies soon or at least moves to the politics board but has the makings for yet another visit to the right margin.
As a capitalist business owner, you seem to be unfamiliar with econ 101.
In the long run (because who gives a shit about short run besides speculation stock/crypto traders and scammers) assuming free market and competitive pricing (no monopolies oligopolies or collusion), max profit will always be at equilibrium price point times the quantity determined
Heres a quick refresher:
"Competitive equilibrium is a condition in which profit-maximizing producers and utility-maximizing consumers in competitive markets with freely determined prices arrive at an equilibrium price. At this equilibrium price, the quantity supplied is equal to the quantity demanded."
Also ," As discussed in the law of supply and demand, consumers and producers generally want two different things. The former wants to pay as little as possible, while the latter seeks to sell its goods at the highest possible price."
Hence why it is irrational for anyone to want to pay more than they have to for any good, and pussy is just the same as any good/service product-wise.
Also, I never blamed the consumers for anything. I always support consumers. What I was against in the other thread is calling other mongers losers for commenting on people's reviews. I also don't get why someone would fuck over fellow consumers, knowingly if they care a lick about them.
This is 100% correct.
I still occasionally consult with startups. But when I first got started doing that I had a couple of friends who begged me to help them figure out how to take their business past the relatively slim profit margin, high labor cost model they had been working for the 3 years prior.
So, over a few sushi meals for which they paid (hey, I wasn’t going to do that much work totally unpaid!) I went through their business with them and essentially ended up telling them the same thing CDL described above.
I told them they were going to have to start raising their rates and going for longer, more profitable gigs with larger customers. Yes, their original customers would have issues with the new pricing. So, I showed them how to manage that as well without alienating the customers that helped them get started. I’ll spare you the details. But I even showed them how to continue to engage with smaller customers without getting back into the same rut they were in when they came to me in the first place.
Two years later they had quadrupled their revenue while freeing up their workload so they no longer had to work all those evenings and weekends. They had happier customers. They made a lot more money. And they were able to focus on the kind of work they had wanted to do in the first place. Everybody wins.
They still take me out for sushi. But mostly to brag about how great business is.
The way I see it, that is capitalism at its best.
Can't believe I'm going to say this but I agree with you. If anyone says they are raising rates because they can, and they actually mean that being the only reason. Yes they don't give a shit about anyone. HOWEVER, I'm guessing anyone who says they're raising rates because they can just don't know how to properly articulate their true reasons for raising rates.
Raising prices above equilibrium doesn't necessarily hurt profits if the loss in volume is less significant than gain on profit margin.
But I think there is a huge misunderstanding as to what the equilibrium in this industry. When I'm with a girl and she gets a call for later on and she says "nah I'd rather go sit at the pool" her rates are too low. True equilibrium would a rate where she would take 100% of appointment requests (ceretis paribus) and volume of clients is not diminished.
What I find interesting is that the pandemic brought so many new ladies into the business, but it is still not enough to keep prices down. Demand is through the roof and there are enough guys out there who can spend 700-1000/hr for a lady. I see ad after ad of brand new girls with no history or reviews starting out in that range - and it's not just the ladies we'd think of as 10s. I imagine many will drop out or quietly reduce their rates as they find a dearth of men lining up to roll the dice at that level of investment, but maybe I'm wrong.
which in June was at a 40-year high of 9.1% from a year ago. That means from last year to this year, every $100 you spend on pussy today is really only worth $91 in terms of June 2021 dollars, because the provider is only going to get $91 worth goods and services she needs to run her business when she recycles your money into the economy at current prices. So on a $400 session, she is only getting $364. In order for her to just stay even, she would have to charge $436 for that $400 session she was getting last year.
IMO, $36 isn't that bad of an increase.
Inflation aside the provider you mentioned may have increased by 100% not purely because of inflation. One of my faves got started in 2019 and she just didn't know better than to charge the $400/hr that she saw other girls charging. She's now up to $800, that's because she learned her worth. Now she's gonna go to $1k, and that bump IS inflation related. So maybe you just got lucky before with that particular provider.
Second not sure where you're at but in SoCal there's still a TON of affordable talent.
If you're getting priced out just adjust your frequency. Or try tinder
This has been a weekly topic here for the last couple of years, and probably once a month for years before that.
I think all any of us can do is simply to decide where the line is for each of us. My current line is 800. I've gone across that only a couple of times because the ladies in question wanted that much to do a duo; I was basically paying an additional fee for my favorite specialty (or so I told myself).
On the other hand, a lady I've seen 20 times told me her rate for anal had increased by 500; the resulting 1300 was more than I would pay. Anal is just not that valuable to me (nor would I have paid her that much to participate in a duo).
When the recession hits for real later this year, I expect to see a nominal drop or flattening of prices. But I don't expect the girls who are charging 7-800 to slash their prices; perhaps we'll see some "specials" such as 90 minutes for the old 60-minute rate, but I don't expect rates to drop substantially any more than I expect LA rents to start dropping substantially.
Aside from inflation, another factor why the providers I see prices are rising so rapidly I reckon is because I tend to lean towards "reviewed" and highly rated providers. Highly rated providers have high demand and have the pricing power.
It might have to be the hand and the internet for a while. lol
Most the time a $2000 hour does not feel any better than a $500 hour!
is $1000/hr, and there was nothing a $1000 girl can do that a $500 girl can't do. In my own observations, rates above $500 tend to have more to do with looks than service. The DDG ladies can charge more and they know it.
I concur.
I really cannot imagine that service at, say, $1000/hr is much different than that at $500. Of course, it depends on the lady.
I have had some amazing experiences at 300-350 recently that make me question spending more.
The highest I have gone is $600 (and would never go higher) and really didn't think the "extra" was worth it.
My Hobbying days will likely come to an end in the next 6 months with current pricing trends, unless I win the lottery lol.
Many providers now are not only raising prices but also requiring 2 hr + meetings, increasing the costs of a session even more.
will be "priced out" of the game.
I don't see much difference between that and being priced out of a Porsche or Ferrari.
No one is truly entitled to the means to play.
the porsche/ferrrari not really an accurate comparison imo.
I never implied that I am "entitled", merely sharing my opinion on how the hobby has changed since I first started.
In any hobby, there are marginal hobbyists. I remember when I took up flying and got my private pilot's license inside of a month. You have to pay by the hour for the airplane (wet) and the instructor's fees. Took me about a month. Some of the marginal players took an entire year because that's all their budget would allow. It wasn't unusual that when rental rates went up, some students decided they could not continue, and dropped out. Presumably, they moved down to a less expensive hobby they could afford. It's bad for older guys who are retired and on a fixed income, but younger guys who find their incomes not keeping up with the price of pussy can either get a second job or find something to do that pays better. I don't subscribe to the rant of the marginal P4P players that they lost their "options" when prices go up.
It’s a catch 22 for me, I make really good money, but I find myself asking is it worth it to keep paying these high prices, the money I have spent on p4p could have gone unto one of my retirement accounts, I will never say a provider is not worth selling her precious body for any amount of money, I’m just glad I am 61 and not 41 because at 61 I can’t preform like I could at 41,so I don’t hobby like I use to!!
As a provider I can agree that some of us have raised our rates (not me personally, but have made a 2hr mandatory on outcalls) due to inflation and the fact that it costs money to make money it is not free for us to put up ads. If you gentleman understood how much we really put into advertising (which has gone up ridiculously 1 website is now $100/week or $300/month) and thats just 1 of the cheaper ones. I post ads on 6 different websites and the monthly fee is way more than the cost of 2 or 3 dates. Yes it pays for itself, sometimes it doesnt, as in I get less business from a particular website than was wort it, but I just charge it to the game. Some months are better than others on differenty websites thats just how it is. Next the amount of money we spend to look good for you gentleman, again Inflation affects us with that as well. Getting our hair done,makeup,nails,lingerie,toys,hotels,websites,pictures,etc...etc...
But I believe that rates are not high enough that you should be priced-out. There are MANY highly reviewed ladies at very reasonable rates. Just do your research and I bet you will find that I'm right. This is the worlds oldest business and it will always be around and if needed, trust me, you will find the lady at the right price point!
Best wishes!
Asian Escorts in London are still £150 same price we have been listing at for over 10 years! Maybe you need to come to London?
Hello Masters of the Universe!
Guess what?
After considerable research, I determined there is no need to pay more than $400 for a quality provider. I have, in the past, paid up to $1K / hour, but those days are, thankfully, long gone.
You may ask “Where are you, in a grass hut somewhere?” Nope I’m in a major northeastern city in the US.
In short, I have curated a list of hot women who charge $300 - $400 / hour. I am quite happy with this line-up which, of course, I will not share. My reviews will not give it away, either, as this is a relatively new thing.
I do this simply by using search engines, including those of TER and Tryst, that allow you to stipulate price ranges. Seek, and you will find.
Love to hear what everyone else thinks!
Regards,
The Ol’ Bargain Hunter
All the power to you. Me, I'm quite lazy at times, and don't like doing a ton of research. I'm also very time constrained. So often I prefer to just pay premium because chances of disappointment are lower. However, when I do come across one of those unicorns you're talking about they will absolutely be seeing a lot of me. And yes they will not be reviewed or shared (same with my faves at higher rates)
This is the second person on this thread that posted about Unicorns and not sharing. Share. lol
Vegas *Nevada* in general has utterly turned into California prices. Everything has gone up & it is affecting everyone! Some people's rent went from 1,100 to 3,000 month there's no limit here! Food, gas...dollar stores are not a dollar nowhere now! Now you know the economy and lifestyle has changed when you see that lmao. Hotels, bills, absolutely everything! I recommend if you can't budget who your wanting to see, to keep looking. There are ones who customized as best as possible to keeping it lower like doing incall vs outcall, I myself found suitable to keep it lower & not go nuts. The strip has really changed now it's pay to park or valet plus tipping them. Gas is horrible & traffic is a nightmare as you never know how long you might be stuck now. I understand both parties here the higher rates yea, but I understand the reason some needing no choice to cover the everything that's gone up. Times have changed, Vegas is a non stop fast pace growing city that has just turned expensive. What made me go huh?? Was the 40k ticket prices for that singer who cancelled & now rescheduled. I want to know who in what's world would actually pay 40k to watch a lady sing for 90minutes and leave lol.
Heading to Vegas in a few months shit has gone up. It gets to the point it’s not worth it to me. There is a certain price for everyone it’s not worth it. I can live without pussy.
If you can’t afford it go buy a playoff and take care of yourself
