To keep things discrete, it is ideal that a provider does not use any perfume (or lipstick), otherwise my C.O. would become suspicious.

On the flip side, how do providers feel about guys that use cologne or strong aftershave? Does it become a problem with your next client?

I love when a man likes to smell good for me- Its a turn-on.  it has not been a problem for me as a
shower and my own body wash eliminates any cologne.

  Thanks for asking :)

i usually splash some on my balls..

Most guys cologne smells way too strong or they bath in it and I, and my in call, end up reeking of it. I only see one client on any given day so I am not worried about the "next guy". I just do not want my space smelling like a cheap gigolo.

I knew I shouldn't have bought Walmart's "Cheap Gigolo" line of cologne.  But it smelled so strong, I figured I'd only have to use about a quarter bottle per appointment, so that'd save me some money as well!

Guess I'll have to shell out the big bucks for Target's "Sweaty Plumber" this time.

;)

I only see one gentleman per day so it is not an issue. Besides on the rare occasion I do see more than one, I shower and do a complete overhaul on myself so I am as fresh and as I was for gent number one :)
I LOVE Cartier for men BTW lol

I love the smell of an happy honey pot but not much on perfume or cologne.

This may be another reason ladies would request that you shower upon arrival.

I love the allure of a nice perfume.  For me, it's a big part of the experience.  I always have my messenger bag with me when I hobby.  I pack my own body wash, antiperspirant and cologne,  along with a hair brush and an emergency change of boxers. I shower at the end of a date and part company with the lady without any more contact than a kiss.

The only lingering odor I occasionally notice is not perfume.  It's the smell of latex. I've baby powder to my kit to take care of that..

Meticulous preparation keeps away panic attacks.

Some colognes do not go with certain bodies the smell is different.
No not an issue after my date I take a bath or shower so no worries about the next guy smelling men's cologne.I also tend to most of the times see one gent for a multi-hour date versus a few in the same day.
But please no cologne near or on your private region it does not taste good.

perfumes. I almost always shower (with soap I have brought along) before leaving a provider's incall. I don't want any tell-tale smells on my body.

I think that cologne and perfume are better for both providers and clients.

Sometimes a man or woman's natural scent or musk, even when they are perfectly well-groomed, can be a bit of a turn-off if it is not to one's taste. There was one provider that I otherwise liked, but her natural scent, even after a shower, just turned me off, so I did not repeat. Not her fault at all, just natural body chemistry, and it was not something that I could have figured out from her ads or reviews. Perfume, or at least body spray or the smell of lotion, would have been better.

I always wear the same cologne and have never had any complaints or observed any discomfort from the ladies that I visited. In fact, whenever providers compliment me, they usually compliment me on how nice I smell. I realize that it is their job to make me feel good with compliments, but the consistency with which so many different providers have chosen to compliment me on that one point leads me to believe that at least their compliments were sincere, even if they were doing it for professional reasons. The civilian ladies that I do not pay to make me feel good seem to like this particular cologne as well.

The cologne is Elizabeth Taylor's Passion for Men. I have to give the credit to a woman who had seven husbands and eight marriages for knowing how to make a man smell good to a woman.

Colognes/perfumes don't have to list their proprietary "trade-secret" ingredients and many contain some nasty stuff for human health in general (and it's not just alarmist BS - the scientific literature is pretty damning for some of the ingredients).

I find if someone applies cologne very lightly I don't experience debilitating symptoms, but I prefer unscented (even some soaps leave a soapy/scented taste) and clean the best.

I like the natural smell of a freshly showered man. Also, none shaven down there turns me on too.Mmmm Love it!!!

...or stop for a shower at the gym before heading home.

And if I am returning to work after a date, I don't give a crap what any of my co-workers think of my smell or the lipstick that is all over my exposed body parts :)
