I really have never gotten a HE at a massage place.  Not much of a parlor guy.

why do so many guys pretend to be newbies?  if i had a dollar i would be rich for everytime i heard "i have never done this before" or "i don't do this very often"  and then you screen him and it turns out he has written 100 reviews and is on several boards.

"student of science".   It's a never ending process no matter how much we think we know or how many we have seen,  there's always more to discover and explore.  

I've been in the hobby for a while but the excitement of seeing someone new still exists.   I feel like a virgin all over again sometimes.  

With a new girl it really does feel a like the first time. Technically,  it IS   the very first time (with her,  that is).  

Heck I might as well consider myself a hobby virgin and a newbie cuz I was away from the hobby for such a long time.  I even had trouble getting verified when I came back.  In the eyes of providers who gave me shit during screening,  I'm a newbie again... I didn't have to pretend to be new,  they treated me like one.     LMA

They're all ego justifications. Whether one is on the "supply" side or the "demand" side of the hobby there is a pervasive stigma attached.  

Many otherwise active hobbyists are also looking for a convenient excuse for NOT writing a review

When I was a newbie, I never ever said I was as I was afraid I'd be a mark if I did.  (Of course, any seasoned provider would have known it anyways.
