There is good news. I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

and unfortunately the ladies are just not smart enough to figure it out.  I used to watch the ladies post on another bd at the beginning of the week with a 200 rate and by Friday the new ladies posting were advertising 75 pr hr.  They continually dropped their rates lower than the gal who posted before them.  So yes I do beleive it is Texas and I do beleive you get what you pay for as the quality as a whole there has been questionable at best.

I've noticed the cut-throat competition here in my area.  

A blonde provider who use to advertise $300 is now 150 per hour, and says in her ad 'she's leaving the state'. Another 19 yr old provider who use to advertise $250 is now $150 per hour
A shapely brunette who use to advertise $300 last 2 weeks is now down to  $200 per hour - her ad says discounts for the SuperBowl, but she says she's not getting any calls when I talked to her.   A UTR co-ed referred to me has a rate of $300 for 3 hours.

Then, I've been seeing 80 - 100 for half hour, and $40-$60 for quick visits.  Took advantage of 2 ladies offering it at 80 and 100 for half hours - face and body "7-8".
200 per hour is now tops for most indies.  Only the agencies are sticking to 225 - 300 level.
Today, I went for another HH appointment for 100 and it was terrific - she satisfied me for the whole 30 minutes.  Another lady who did not pick up earlier  was offering $60 for 20 minutes, and she called me back too late (she has a few good TER review). I'll probably see her next week.  I'm targeting to spend  $60 + $60 + $100 + $100 = $320 next week for 4 ladies for 20-30 minutes each. I've never been so confused with so many choices and new providers.    

Is this also happening in your area?  I remember that last year $175-$250 per hour was common.  Now its more like $150 - $160 per hour.

All I see are price increase or 2 hour minimum.  It sucks.

It makes no sense to me as there are jobs to be had here. Just today I had a 2 hour session for $200 full menu but covered. Such a thing would be unthinkable six months back. I Just don't get it but there seems to be a price war going on on the lower end. It is effecting the whole seen here.

I hobby in a few cities, I find if I put in the effort, the rates are very good at this time.  Plenty of new laides getting into the hobby due to the economy.  I toftt with a lady who's been getting great reviews and has raised her rates since I've seen her. Plenty of new providers with just a few reviews looking for biz, so rates start low. Of course, if you want to see the "designer" ladies, then you'll pay for it.

Experienced and well reviewed providers seemed to have risen their rates since the new year. I guess they feel like it is time for a raise.  In reaction to those higher rates, there seems to be a bevy of newcomers advertising on BP at pretty low rates (of course some of those may be LE trying to trap a hobbyist).  Maybe the promise of higher wages tends to attract a larger workforce.  It would make a great topic for any economists working on a thesis for their phd, plus the research would be fun.

Girls like the one you've linked have always operated on volume and they're picking up the slack they're losing to the new girls and other volume girls they're competing with by going lower.

Higher girls are holding at their rates or going higher.

Mid-range girls are being forced to choose or make a strategy.

I don't see any significant difference or recent changes.  When you start noticing $600 an hour girls or two hour minimum girls going to $200 an hour because they're starving wake me up because then that will be cause for an interesting discussion.  Don't think that's going to happen.

higher end girls tend to do this on the side so they do not feel the need to lower their rates..while lower end providers usually tend to provide only so they will do whatever to get dates..

I think the back page type girls are going down. Some of the agency's are going up. Especially if a girl gets a good review.  Some of the better indies are staying the same. Some are giving a better muliple rate while some aren't. I am stuborn and refuse to pay more than a certain amount. I have never done less than an hour. I can't have any fun in any less time. I stay away from the bottom feeders and high volume cheap o's I am not a coupon shopper. Though I still look for value received. If I find a keeper I will pay a little better than asked. This economy isn't good for my business so I have been cutting back some. The women I frequent seem to be fairly steady in their prices and I stay with in a certain range.
