I'm going back and forth now and never did have a real website made. I mean I have ads, but just nothing like say, www.alluringava.com. I am seriously thinking about having one made after seeing some of the ladies sites and their designs.

Does it matter to the gentlemen clients if a provider has a nice website with all the answered questions, etiquette, etc, that she has everything all pretty much spelled out for you, in addition of course to having stellar reviews.

I've never had one made in all these years I've worked and I kind of like the thought of having an alluringava.com site. More pics, etc.

And no, I'm not on the Ambien yet. LOL

There are things one can do with a website that simply cannot be done with an ad.

If you do decide to make a website, invest the money (not a lot) and make sure to have a professional website made.

Please do not use those free rare-escort.com website templates. Lots of problems with them and a real turnoff.

It all comes down to the best service for the donation which makes a lady successful.  Websites don't guarantee that even if they are spiffy and have lots of sexy pictures.

There are ladies like yourself who advertise without a website and are still successful.  IMHO, it is a matter of making sure that you have a presence on a advertising or verification forum such as TER, Eros, Date-Check, P411, etc. One of my best contacts was with a lady whose ad on Eros attracted my eye and she has no website to this day.  She only had two sexy pictures, had great prose in her ad, and all info I needed regarding rates, etc.  That's all it took for me to contact her. And it seems other guys have the same inclination because she is always booked.

Language i.e., tone of the language on the web page is deal maker or breaker. When forceful words such "mandatory", "you must fill the web form" and other commanding words gives the impression that the person is too rigid and potentially hard to get along with. I for one don't want to mess with a person who is rigid, commanding and forceful. It is like saying "it is the company policy" when you call customer service. My answer always is, I don't care about your company policy and you moron don't know how to deal with the customer without using those words, that is not what it is intended for.

You can say the same thing across without using commanding and forceful words in an ad intended to attract customers.

Again, usability and speed is important. Keep in mind that, when you browse the pages on your computer or your web developer demonstrates your new flashy web pages, it is not on the Internet and it is going appear fast and impressive. Expect a 20% to 30% loss when the pages are down loading through the Internet. If your knowledgeable developer tells you that the server is on the network, it most likely on the local network with a 100 Megabit Ethernet. Speed will be different on the Internet, hence; limit over use plug-ins such Flash, Silverlight and similar products. If you have developer who knows what he/she is doing, most of the plug in style flashy stuff can be accomplished by running Java Script on the server but it does require knowledge of Java code and scripting.

You don't want to put pages and pages of information just because 80% of the people are not going to read that many pages so, put just enough information out there. You can also limit number of useless calls by informing prospective clients by putting the rates for the service. This will eliminate useless calls from people looking for rates below yours. Would it eliminate all such calls, probably not, would it reduce the number of such calls, probably would.

Do realize the fact that we live in a society in which people dislike to read and if they did; we wouldn't see people crossing all the way from the right lane on interstate to take an Exit 100' feet from an exit or going forking in the wrong direction on the Interstate and try make an U-turn when big green signs and flashing sings are posted for 2 and miles ahead.

Food for thought.

First off, it tells me you're not a LE. LE don't make elaborate websites with 20 or so pics of nekkid ladies .. and then update them from time to time. That's one nice thing about a website - it puts me at ease on the LE issue.

Ladies with website that says - here are the services offered: DATY, DFK, Greek, etc ... gives me immediately information about her services and limitations which cuts down my time to make a decision. And if it provided links to TER, that helps too.

For newbie clients, it does help a lot.

At this point, when I decide to see ladies for the first time, it's usually because they made an impression at an M&G or via online exchange of communications.  Website design has never been a determinant, but if you want to come across as professional and serious, having your own website is important.

Yes there are ladies who do just fine without one.
You say you have none currently so I guess you're an example. (!)

But I think every little bit helps and, heck, it couldn't hurt.

Not that my site is the bees knees or the best on the planet but I learned some very simple (the simplest) html and did it myself. The only extra I have is my photo page is a flash program.
I recommend the DIY path.

The control when you make your own is fabulous. YOU are the one dealing with your clients .. YOU know better than a web designer what is working.  It isn't all about the flash.  Your personality comes thru your site and that is what draws guys.
I feel sites are a window to a more intimate you.

Even 3 simple pages can convey a great deal..
Plus the ladies who don't have websites... they don't seem as professional and trusworth to me.. which might be a turn on to men for all I know..
ha ha

but I guess you were asking for the mens opinion only.. (-:  oops... (-:  have a good weekend.

If she has good reviews here on TER the website is inconsequential to me.  If she does not have reviews a good website will be a deciding factor as to whether I see her or not.

Didn't we just talk about this? There are so many poorly designed sites out there! And what’s with all the cookie cutter templates? It seems like every other girl has the same site with different pictures! A good website can make a career, but a bad one can ruin a career! So take them for granted.

In my opinion, it’s most important for a website to be clean, show accurate pictures and give the users easy access to what they are looking for. From a marketing standpoint, you want it to set you apart from your competition.

Over the last 10 years I’ve build countless sites and the most important attribute is that the site is clean and easy to navigate. Nothing is worse than having a client or potential client leave your site feeling frustrated. Your website is a gateway for your client. A way for them to get a feel for your personality before they call. It all leads to the client having expectations before the visit, so you can use your website to produce the kind of expectations you want your clients to have. That is a really strong tool for the ladies out there. You can draw in clients with certain tastes.

In this industry, probably the most important part is making sure the pictures are of high quality. Color schemes, sounds, flash animation, etc. are pretty much all based on the likes and dislikes of the owner; although, it’s very easy to place too much importance on sound and flash animation. They need to be used with tact and caution! A website is a visual tool in an artistic form, and just like any form of art, it leaves the user with a feeling which can be either good or bad. So please, from a professional stand point, don’t think of a site as a luxury. It’s really a necessity for any type of long term business success.

Thank you for reading my rant!

Very well said. Although i do take exception to the idea that a professional designer might try and sell a pretty site with unnecessary plugin's (only because I am a designer). I good designer will demo the idea on an internet connection so he/she doesn't give a false indication of the loading speed. In fact I do so using my cell phone as my connection. Also, a good designer will ask what you’re looking for and wouldn't over produce the site.

But once again, very well said!

I use the website to get some insight into important intangibles such as personality.

Some websites, to be fair, make me decide "No way, no how, not even if she paid me."

Others, on the other hand, help me decide "I wanna see that woman so much I'd pay her!"

It's not the mere existence of the website, but its CONTENT that matters.

One thing, though. In looking at website stats, guys look at escort sites in the following order:

pictures, rates, contact, everything else.

So the guys that will actually care about any but the first three are the exception rather than the rule.

I prefer high end luxury companions, e.g. $400 to 600 hourly rate.  A classy website is a VERY important determination if I am to see a lady.  I especially love those websites that use Veda Designs or employ photography by Scott Church.

In my view, the type of website a lady employs is a good indicator of her level of service and whether she meets the GFE test.  I recognize there are some ladies who meet that definition and do not have a website, but it is how I choose ladies to meet ...

I will see ladies without a website but a good website will move a lady up the list. But a bad one or an out of date one may get a lady off my list. A website should load quickly, have lots of current pictures showing the lady from many angles and not all photo shopped, rates, contact information, screening requirements, locations you travel to, times and days you can be seen, if you have an incall, and links to any reviews you may have. The website must be easy to navigate and show a little bit of your personality. If you have a calendar keep it up to date. Anything else is just extra and many guys will not look at it but some will so put it up if you want. A hard to navigate, slow to load, or out of date site will drive clients away, so if you get one keep it simple and current. A good website is a great tool and most likely increase business.

Even a basic site is better than nothing. I have seen ladies without sites, but I prefer that you have a web site. I also like an email address, as sometimes I prefer to make the first contact with email. I do not like contact forms on web sites.  I will give you all the info you request on the contact form using email. I like it when a lady says use the contact form or email me the info. Just the way I am.

A full menu would be great for you guys, HOWEVER, that in and of itself is a target for the lady. But then so are reviews, however reviews are considered third party where the website is written by the lady and is greatly inferring what she will do for money...and don't believe those disclaimers..not worth the bandwidth they use to put them on there. Not a lawyer but have had this advice given to me.

If the Disclaimer does not deter LE then ...
It's better to indicate the menu than not.
You'll getting more clients while the risk of getting arrested stays the same LOL.

LE's mind set is = "you got nudie pics, you got donation rates, you got clients, I don't care what you're your website says or not, I'm gonna arrest you, as you're the same with all other escorts."

I have no problem with a template site.  Get one that can be taylored to your needs.  You don't have to use their check boxes (under services for instance).  But it's much nicer to be able to refer someone to your site...  & you control it & keep it current.
I find a good website very useful in deciding whether to make the call.

If your ad refers to a web site, it place some legitimacy in it.

A web site does not need to be fancy. Mainly photos and rates and, if you tour, your schedule. Except for physical stats, bio is not important for me. An etiquette section perhaps good for a newbie, but I don't read it.

Besides, you have more control of the contents in your own web site.

First off I believe a website is important to me even considering a visit. Without it, where would the photos reside, other than perhaps some old ad site info.

Here's my bitch. I stumble across very nicely put together websites from a professional standpoint, plus excellent prose written by the provider. And some not so professional site. Yet both types I have found more often than not.....

WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU? What is your home base? What major cities might you travel too? It is so disgusting to get excited about a hottie you have come across on the web, yet she does not tell you were she is located.

How much trouble can it be to state.. "I AM LOCATED IN PHOENIX" or "I CAN SHOW YOU A NIGHT ON THE TOWN IN CHICAGO" or "I AM BASED IN LAS VEGAS, HOWEVER I TRAVEL OFTEN TO PHILADELPHIA AND WASHINGTON DC.

....to go ahead and have one made. I selected Aphrodite Designs because I like their designs/layouts. I think a website might provide a lot more info about my services, more photos, etc, and will be useful in touring. I haven't toured in years but since I am going to the M and G in Florida in September, I thought, there seems to be a serious lack of Asian women down in the South. I may just try touring Southern cities. :) And yes, I promise to put my location on there LOL.

It does not matter to me as long as I can get access to the information I need easily.
I like to know her measurements. Height is most important than actual measurements because I am short. I hate calling for a price. I want the price to be stated on the ad or in the website. If I have to call for the price I may be wasting your time and mines. I also like a link to her reviews(if any). I am not too lazy to go to TER to find them, but you get bonus points if I don't have to hunt information down. Most FAQ's are pretty much the same, but if there is a special exception I like to know that also.

Basically having the information readily available is the priority. The websites are just a nice touch.

Now if you are an agency I do expect a website.

I forgot to add that if you do have a flashy website, there should be a way to get past the flashy intro(very nice intro with music and pictures etc). I do appreciate the effort, but if I am short on time, sitting through a long introduction will just make me go to the next lady's site.
