hey anyone know what is going on around here? submitted two reviews a week ago and still not posted and sent support a note two days ago inquiring and no response. is it my imagination or is it not worth the hassle anymore? Not like its easy to fill out reviews with the min and max characters, links, vitals stats. Be nice to get a response.

I had a similar experience.  I wrote two reviews on the same day earlier this month. It took a week to post.  I assumed that the reviews were spaced out on purpose or due to staffing.  I still thinks it is worth the effort to submit reviews.  All the ladies I have seen have been researched using these reviews.  I feel I have an obligation to report to those who follow what to expect.  However, I agree it would be nice to have an explanation for the delay.

The people that actually check the reviews, have jobs as well. So, they'll get to it when they get to it.

It would be nice, that if all I had to do was kick back and read all the sordid details of your's, mine, and every other monger's dates.

Shit! I can see it now. Drink inhand, reading how you put her ankles behind her ears, and she squirt 10 feet in the air when you stuck your tongue in her poop-chute.

I'd piss myself, I'd be laughing so hard! ;)

I suspect some of them have personal info about either the provider or the reviewer himself that the mods would rather not be posted. I hear, too, that sometimes there aren't enough details to make the review worthwhile (in the eyes of the mods and gents researching). Last, some of the reviews reveal unacceptable behavior on the part of the reviewer.

These are just my observations from a year on the boards.

Not only reviews now lag waaaay behind being published from time of posting, but the problem reports as well.

It took over a week and then it was rejected and so I made edits and resubmitted and now its been another week.  Still no biggie in my opinion.  In the grand scheme of things, its not as frustrating as having to self-checkout at the store or deal with the post office/DMV.

I had an identical experience - review that took 8 days to get approved, no problems or anything and it finally did get approved yesterday. Two PMs on it, no reply. But the strangest thing is that I tried to start an almost identical thread yesterday and it was killed by the mods. Guess TER works in mysterious way.

My only suggestion is that they change the review guidelines where they say reviews will be approved in 2-4 days. Maybe 7-10 days?

After a certain amount of time, I begin to worry that there is something wrong with the review and I am missing it, like one review I did for a provider with no phone and it took a few tries to enter that in a way that would even submit. This time I had referenced two ad sites plus a personal site, and reading the little blurb there about web sites, after the fact, of course, I was not sure whether that was a message telling me I had somehow entered too many sites, or entered the sites wrong, thus my PMs.

No, I am not complaining, just suggesting. And if we stopped submitting reviews, I think over 90% of the value of TER goes away, both for providers and hobbyists. So I am on board and happy to live with however long it takes and whatever process works. Probably busy over the holidays - lots of reviews and review mods need more personal time.

Which was to contact Admin.  Sadly, there are more people bitching than I can keep up with.  The response problems are real, but those folks don't read the boards any more than I deal with reviews and such.  So, while you can all form a bonding circle here, you only impact the problem by telling them.  In other words, bury their asses in problem reports, not whining on the boards.

I dunno, as I've only submitted 4 reviews since I joined a few months ago.  Two were approved in about a week (not bad, given that it was holiday season).  With the others I was given clear and explicit guidance on why they were rejected (a problem with the gal's link info, and I'm still working on that).  All you need to do is go to My TER, then My Reviews and click on any unapproved review.  The reasons for it will be right there at the top.

Seems people like just bitching on the boards but won't do diddly-shit other than that.

Mods have NOTHING to do with reviews, problem reports, profile changes, your psoriasis, that burning when you pee, the 'check engine' light that's been on for three weeks, cleaning your gutters, or the price of tea in China. Whining about them here won't change that.

Be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease....but squeak in the right direction.

Get real.

I've submitted reviews that were nicely detailed with a refusal to post due to lack of detail on several occasions.  I've had reviews posted with LESS detail than the ones denied.  I've specifically asked what kind of detail is needed and have not had that information provided--worse yet, the typical response is "look at the reason provided"...which doesn't say anything.

That would be bad enough, but I've also tried to post a review on the worst experience I've ever had--a Rip-off with threats--and it was denied to.

On the board I frequent now, a real sweetheart of a provider is complaining that an advertising site has printed an ad with her information without here knowledge or permission--something that occurs with TER's help, it appears (they provide the profile info to the offending advertiser).

There are people who have good reason to complain.  Maybe someday TER with take those complaints to heart and do something about them.  I don't complain much anymore, but I sure DO NOT trust TER either.

And I had already submitted two problem reports with no reply before I posted here. I am not perfect, but in this case I think I did everything I was supposed to do, was following your suggestion to bury them without being told, and only tried to start a thread once I had exhausted the other avenue.

On the other hand, I really have no problem with you denying my thread and accepting this one - I was just noting it along with chiming in on my experience that paralleled the OP's. I also am completely serious that if 2-4 days actually means "USUALLY 2-4 days, but sometime we get backed up and it may take up to two weeks," it would be a lot easier to just say that. People would still bitch, for sure, but I and probably many others would wait until the 2 weeks had passed before contacting them or posting.

cheers,
Zig

Though I enjoy power boats, I am also at home when sailing, with  feelings of no need for hurry, or instant gratification.
My solution to problem report delay .I do ten at a time. They roll in approved every day after a week or so.
If you let the little things bother you, what happens to you, when dealing with something that actually affects your life?

we ladies appreciate your special attention to detail and we also long to read your prose. Nothing makes me feel more appreciated than to find a new review from a gentleman I have seen. I do understand the time you spend just to say thank you and value this gift. Every review helps  make a ladies chance of success that much greater in most cases and helps the gentlemen here on TER keep up to date on a ladies activities. I have been on a sabbatical of sorts for some months and counting the days till a new review for me is posted.

Thank you for letting others know that the timing on new reviews is taking a little longer.  Although there are many forums to read, reading reviews are the main reason most visit TER.

Approval of a review is up to admin, and its not always about you; it can be who you are reviewing.  Ive been on borh sides, a review that posted in 24 hrs and another that took two weeks.  If you want to complain use contact us.  Mods are not approving your reviews,
Doc

My latest review - pending for 6 days - was finally approved today. The one before that took only 3 days. I would assume the delay is due to the review-approval gods being gone for the holidays. Glad to see the wheels are turning again!  :)
