What makes you more interested when you look at reviews: a higher rating in appearance or performance?

Scores do not mean that much for me. I will look a little bit at outliers, unusually high or low scores, for a lady, but mostly I read the reviews, look at the reviewers' track records and see how well their tastes and experiences might match up with mine.

Relying on scores is a sucker's game, whether it is TER, or movie, product or restaurant reviews. Scores here are probably less reliable than most because of the total lack of any common reference point for them. Lady gets a 7 from one guy because her breasts are large, and a 10 from the next guy because he loves 'em big.

And yup...we've seen a bunch of the same gals...and we usually agree.  But not all the time...since you like them differently than I like them.

And scores HERE unreliable...nope, reviewers are unreliable.  They get pushed by the hookers to change up scores and such...yep...it's true.

Back channel...and back channel more.  Then those goofy broads who have those fake 10/10's...we can discuss them in detail.  And don't post it in PM's.  Loose lips do tend to sink ships.

performance for sure..the average review almost always has a higher score for appearance..some of these girls are so gorgeous they rate a 9 or 10 when you walk in the door..you can be the most beautiful girl in the world but be lousy in bed..hence i read the performance part carefully to see if she is my cup of tea..usually 9 or 10 on performance score will give you a good flavorful cup..anything less usually is bland and tasteless..we depend on our fellow tasters to judge the bouquet..

The content of the actual reviews is far more important and influential for me than the number ratings. Over a series of reviews, I can get a much truer sense as to whether the escort is someone with whom I will truly connect and the "big head " for me is a critical component for an enjoyable and fulfilling physical bonding. I want to get a sense of personality and style. This can only come from the prose and not the numbers.
Some 10/10s may just click for me while an 8/8 could leave me smiling and content.  So yes .... Both and neither.

It would be performance, since looks are so subjective.  However, performance can also be subjective.  The numbers will initially get my attention, but I like to read the fantasy reviews and find out what the provider is like behind closed doors.  I'm also looking for consistency - if a lady has some consistency in her scores, then you feel relatively good about what the reviews say.  It gets interesting when there are a few 9/9s and then some 8/5s.  Then you have to investigate.  But long story short, the performance number gets the attention, but the reviews seal the deal

I would say at least 7s, but most importantly if the review is genuinely good.

All of the scoring is completely subjective, so one has to read the reviews.  But, if I look at scores, I am most impressed with consistently-high performance scores.

I'm big on your attitude. ( you don't have to be a 10 in looks and or performance ) I do expect a better performance, than what i would get from a civee though.
I like getting to know the lady a little, through pm,ing, then i put them on my list to see, if i'm in the area.
Also, if they have a nice butt.....that helps. lol.

I pay much more attention to the performance part of a review.  Like others have noted, I also look to the actual narrative than to the number since that seems to give a more accurate representation of what you can look forward to.  Also, I've noted over the years that sometimes the numerical rating doesn't seem to be in line with the writing, usually with the number being lower than what you would have thought reading the review.  And as many here, I prefer to see someone with multiple reviews, especially if they are consistent.  If that is the case, it's been my experience that is a good indicator of what is to come!

I agree with the overwhelming sentiment that a numerical rating system is inherently flawed.

However, there's a certain threshold for me, usually between 6-7. Over 7 it seems there is a considerable variance depending on the personal taste of the monger doing the writing, so you have to read between the lines. I've read stellar reviews where the lady in question only got a 6 or a 7. (Seriously?)

Having said all that, I'll take performance over appearance every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I agree. I pre-score her appearance myself based on her pics. If she is all 9/10's for looks in reviews, but her pics don't do it for me, those scores are meaningless. Her pics have to give me a clear idea of what her body is like, and if she's my type. Face pics are great, but so few post them, that it is just a chance that has to be taken. Ladies, IMHO, pics should show your body. Nudes are not necessary, but bra panty, bikini, pics are what gets me. I always assume that whatever you are not showing is something to be hidden. Maybe that's not fair, but that's what I do.
Performance scores are also unimportant, within reason. I read the reviews and gauge if her attitude is what I like, and if she provides services I may be looking for at any given point in time.

I want to see a pattern of high numbers in both areas.  

But after a lot of thought, I would say I give more interest in appearance.
But only by a little bit.  

I am a visual person.

Looks matter for nothing if the performance is crap. IMO.

FIRST she performs as advertized,
2 her pictures are real
Menu compatability
No Rush, no scams

I don't take anybody's word for "looks"...  I can see the pictures myself & decide if I'm attracted.

If she's still on my list after this...  I read all her recent reviews.  I tend to discount high outliers.  I look at lows for what went wrong...  Often a client will give away that she wasn't his type but he went anyway, so his fault & I can give extra credit if she gave her all, despite his bad decision.  I look most for consistancy...  maybe not so much in numbers but in text of looks/perfermance.

Good pictures will get my attention before I ever read her review.

Bad pictures will cause me to never look at her reviews.

Because tastes can vary regarding who's attractive and who isn't.  A girl who's my type and is likely to get a 9 or 10 in appearance may get a 7 or 8 from another guy because he has a different type.   Also I can go to her website, see what she looks like and judge for myself.  Although in that case I do like to know if her pics are real or recent.

...I will definitely check out the ratings that are the outliers. I will say though that to me performance is the more important (within reason) than appearance.

I look over all the photos I can find. Even the blurred ones give some idea. No face showing at all I back channel.

If the details don't say anything specific about the appearance I take the numbers to be accurate, but back channel helps me to be sure.

Most of us guys know, that TER reviews are HEAVILY inflated. I use to rely on reviews as a consensus, but over time, you learn how to "research" and get the "truth" about a provider.

Here's what I do, if I am interested in a certain provider, I look for credible reviewers who's opinion I value, and I back channel them to get the truth. With out naming names, for obvious reasons, I can't tell you how many presumed 9's I've been turned away from, because I found out they are really 7's on a good day.

If you really want to have the right idea about a provider, deduct 2 points from their appearance and that's usually what you can expect when you open the door. That being said, sure, there are those who are true representations of their reviews.

I heard that if you do not offer anal that you can NOT get a 10/10.  If that is true, that is pretty crazy.  Anyone else heard that before?

I found this in the Self Help Center, under Ratings Explanation:

"For performance ratings, it is asked that you please save the 8, 9, and 10 ranks for situations where out of the ordinary services are provided (i.e. Blow Job - without condom, Kissing - with tongue, Anal - Yes, and Really Bi - Yes, More than One Guy - Yes). Of course, the 10 rating should be reserved for an experience that is really worth a million!

An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering these service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. I don't think that is true, I've given 10's for performance w/o anal and a 9 for aa lady whh did FIA and anal twice.

INCLUDE bbbj, kissing with tongue, being really bisexual, or anal. So if you do 3 of the 4, you can get 10s.

... I will pick Performance everytime.

I have met a number of 9s/10s whose performance sucked big time, therefore, that's all I remember about them.

Both of my ATFs are great looking ladies, but their looks is not what makes them so good.

It's their passion for the job they do. Both of them really get into it and it shows through the performance.

Passion/Performance wins out everytime.
