Some clients are in professions that require networking for them to be successful, and many of the ladies have businesses and lives outside of this one and come in contact with many guys of different professions. I often meet my clientelle outside of escorting on a professional level, in public or in private. With this in mind, I was wondering if any of the guys/ladies here have established a trusting relationship with each other and network with one another. It has been beneficial to me with the gents that I have come in contact with.

The Beautiful One,

There is a stigma attached to enjoying this hobby, so at certain levels of society, these activities need to be kept very quiet. Networking would then be quite counterproductive.

I've meant to ask this as a question: do all hobbiests feel this way, that they cannot mention the hobby to their friends and acquaintances? I'd love to, but I don't dare. I am pretty new at this, but also have the impression that providers similarly do not let their friends and family know that they are in the business. I would like to hear from both hobbiests and providers their views on this.

I never network outside the community.  It is just to risky and do wish to keep my personal/private life separate.  There are to many variables that can come into play that can eventually sneak up and bite you in the you know what.

I don't Advertise my hobby on a t-shirt or anything, but i don't deny it either. If someone were to ask me, they would get an honest answer. There are members of my family and friends that know, and there are those that don't know. But the ones that don't know just have never asked (and no, i'm not married). Always kinda figured that if someone was close to you, the only thing that lying about it was going to do was screw it up, and if they aren't close to you, who the hell are they that you need to lie to them. Plus i just don't worry to much about what people think. I am who i am, and as much as i like to sometimes, i know i'm not going to change. If people i meet like that, great, if they don't thats ok too. But i am in a position that alot of the men in this hobby are not, single.

As far as the networking part goes, i keep my personal and private lives as seperate as possible. I tried mixing the two once. It got ugly.

...It's like so many things. Some people and circles can handle or relate to it, others can't.
I'm single with no political aspirations so the freedom allows a certain amount of candor on my part when dealing with others. My 80yr old Dad figures "Why not??.. Go get'em". My sisters would be horrified if I were to tell them of the/my Hobby.
One thing for certain. Until the stigmas of infidellity immorality & illegality can be removed from our beloved hobby we will never be able to come totally "Out of the closet" with it.

Stranger sweetie,
I appoligize to all of you who got confused by my posting and by stranger answer, because I did not make myself clear enough,  but my question was do you guys/ladies ever network on a PROFESSIONAL level regarding your PROFESSIONAL businesses. Not the escorting business, I totally agree with stranger and you all that at certain levels of society our activities need to be kept very quiet. Especially in my line of work.

It would take a tremendous amount of trust to bring in a provider into my "professional" business.  Most people in business do not openly accept the hobby and someday if the news of your relationship leaked out, it could be devasting for business.  It's not to say that I would not help out a provider, but I prefer to separate my play from my work.

but discrection is almost always best.  I've been in residential real estate for over a decade and have helped many providers with buying or selling homes.  Further, I have several clients who are in other 'adult' industries as well.  I have found mixing business and pleasure to be successfull more often that not.
