Yesterday I had a fantastic day at the poker tables.
I was stuck for the 1st hour; couldn't catch a hand.
Then I remembered the "Universal Law of Attraction" and started visualizing huge stacks of chips in front of me.  Lo and behold 4 hours later I'm cashing out 7 times my initial buy-in.  Made me profitable for the month.

I was hitting big hands, against opponents big hands, and they were forced to keep paying me off.
It was surreal and more then just a rush.

Best hand of the session:  KarmaEx has pocket A-A.
Flop is garbage with 2 diamonds.  The pot was capped pre-flop and capped post-flop.  The turn is the Ace of Diamonds.  I get bet into so I raise.  My opponent re-raises, signaling the nut-flush.  I call(knowing I have a 20% draw towards a full house), and two other people call.  River pairs the board with a 4 of Clubs.  I'm sitting on the nuts and my opponent bets into me......Sweet!

{The turn is the Ace of Diamonds.}

So you made a two outer that only gave you a draw?

I mean, if it was capped pre-flop, and capped on the flop, you can't feel too good about your pair.

No, the turn made me a set with 9 outs(20% chance of catching my card).  I was in the lead before the flop, on the flop, and only had to play catch up after the turn.

...you certainly don't want to be playing those sort of games in Texas. I've seen that film " I got broke doin it bareback on the mountain".

I walked into the Bicycle in Bell Gardens, CA one night, hit the $100 no limit table with a single $100 buy in and walked out with $2k 6 hours later...couldn't miss.   Took $500 off one guy who was on tilt and kept coming after me over and over...

You were in the lead before the flop, but you can't possibly like your hand when it gets capped on the flop.  That SCREAMS two pair, straight draws, and flush draws.  Sure, you have a good chance of having the best hand on the flop, but there are more cards in the deck that hurt you than help.  That much betting on the flop, and someone usually has something big.
