Is this not the same thing reviews represent?

I can see having one or the other, but not both. For guys who absolutely do not write public revews, sure, would be a great way for them to submit a private survey (no name needed) to the provider's link provided in the email.

What would your reaction be to a follow-up survey regarding your appointment with a provider, via phone call, or e-mail?

The format would be. Unsolicited, but she told you the survey will be conducted, and you can't opt out. Obviously you could ignore her call/e-mail. Oh! and she wants the top rating, regardless of your opinion, on her performance. While encouraging you to be honest of said experience.

Here's the kicker. You were adequately satisfied with her performance. Yet the thought of taking a survey irritates you very much, and you have to use her services in the future. Based on convenience, time restraints, and you were actually satisfied with the service.

TO Opt out of anything in life.

1) You can choose to purchase
2) You can chose to purchase from a competitor
3) You can refrain from purchasing

If she told you "the survey is unsolicited, but the survey will be conducted"....that's not unsolicited, because you knew upfront.... See steps 1-3 whether you want to involve yourself or not.

Same as any other telemarketer.... 85% of the time I would hang up or tell them to piss off.

...and the agency wanted to know what level of service was being received, while marketed under her name.

My example of a provider was that just an example. Which could be interchanged with any commodity.

The stuff about I will get a survey, I can't opt out is bad enough so I likely would take a pass on her. But the following statement would definitely cause me to keep walking . "Oh! and she wants the top rating, regardless of your opinion, on her performance."

what if this was a product/service, where you're not forced to buy the P/S. but the P/S was a necessity?

I want to keep walking, but I need what she's got.

I believe if I'm already patronizing your business. I'm satisfied with the product/service, if not I wouldn't be there to start with. I don't feel the need to validate my actions, with words.

From my perspective, this makes me want to take my business else where.

What if hookers operated like automotive dealerships? :-

Nothing keeps the libido up like an interrogation.

;) ;) ;)

Kiss me,

Kate

PS Kinda seriously though, why ask after the fact? I'll ask all I can prior to and then check in during if I'm not already sure. Isn't after.... just too late?

That's right if know you were preforming a quality service, whilst providing the service. No need to ask for validation after.

The person providing me with a good or service works for me, not the other way around. When I get surveys from airlines, hotels, etc I normally ignore them or hang up on them as a waste of my time. I would treat a hooker conducting business this way the same exact way.

To answer what I think is your question, you are being so vague It's hard to tell what you are really asking here, but I think what i would do is tell this seller of goods or services that my time is valuable and I won't be blackmailed into the equivalent of a "good review"

I was trying to steer my question towards escort services. Although I wanted the question to address all businesses who asked for feed back. I believe that business should know if they are providing a good product/service. With out the need of customer validation. The fact that I'm patronizing your business should be enough validation in it self.

I will add that providing, might be one of the few businesses where customer feed back is most important

Are they seriously going to deny repeat service ($$) if you ignore their attempts to get feedback?

What agency/provider/commodity is doing so well that they can afford that?

My post was directly inspired by the automotive sales & sevice industry. When ever you purchase an automobile, or service that automobile. They say expect a survey regarding your sales/service experience.

I thought the free market was the survey?

??

I'm well past the age where I need or want anyone's approval or what I do or don't do.

Those who "SHOULD!!" on me have the problem to deal with, not me.

DEprived

You respond as if relationships matter. But only because you were told (I assume in advance) that the survey will be conducted and that you "have to use her services in the future". If that last is NOT absolutely true, then there is no dilemma and you respond or not as you choose, in the manner that serves you best or you do not see the provider in the first place.

As for the survey options... every woman knows, or should know, that a man will be most open and honest in his responses immediately following sex!! Oxytocin high and all that. She should survey immediately post-coitus and in person

I can see having one or the other, but not both. For guys who absolutely do not write public revews, sure, would be a great way for them to submit a private survey (no name needed) to the provider's link provided in the email.

might provide some good feed back, as not every client likes the same thing. I still wouldn't want to provide feed back.

My post was actualy about auto dealerships, I'm glad GaGambler mentioned hotels, as their performance surveys are a annoying too. All a business has to do, is ask it self if they think they provide a product/service, they would want to patronize..and their answer should always be yes.

Oh, you can bet your ass I review EVERY place I eat at, every hotel I visit, and every airline I use after becoming a hooker and seeing how important reviews are for business. You can about imagine how those reviews sound when I am pissed lol. I can't toss the f bomb, but I can certainly get in some zingers.
