Is there something wrong with a white knight?

I've yet been able to figure out why this is considered either a disease (syndrome) or an insult.

Please help me out here.

Preferably the BIG one!

I wasn’t going to post this because I really don’t feel like taking the shit or starting any, but in the end, it just pissed me off too the point that I’ll do it anyway.

For the third time in the last month I awoke to find an email form a “board friend” of mine that basically said... “Hey, did you see what (insert lady’s name here) posted on the board. What a dumb bitch, huh? She’s going to lose a lot of business because of that.”

In one case the guy emailed me to say how the lady in question was going to piss off her client base and then went on to say he emailed her to tell her the same thing. I suppose that’s fine, but he included his email to her in his email to me. In another case the lady involved was kind enough to forward me the PM at my request so I could see for myself . In both cases the words used were ignorant at best.

I have a news flash for you gentlemen... and at the moment I’m using that term very loosely. These are flesh and blood people you’re talking about and dealing with, show alittle respect, okay? Or if that’s too much of a stretch for you at least alittle common decency.

Sure, they sell their time....themselves... and guess what, YOU buy that product. If you don’t like a girl with opinions then don’t see that particular type of girl, or simply don’t read her posts. If you don’t agree with her opinions then try to thoughtfully post it on the board and maybe debate things alittle. You never know, you might actually learn something that changes your opinion, or she hers. At worst you can always agree to disagree.

Also, in my opinion, if you feel the need to PM or email a girl that isn’t new to the scene and/or hasn’t asked for advice (IE: just because you think she’s wrong about stating her opinions) and tell her how to run her business, consider this: The emails and appointment forms will stop coming if you’re really right and she’ll figure it out in short order that she’s doing something wrong and take corrective actions. There’s a big difference between trying to help someone out with alittle friendly advice and telling them they better keep their mouth shut if they want to keep their client base.

Like I said earlier, these ladies sell their time... and we buy it. But lately it seems as if the overall attitude from some of the men here has become that they are in a better class of people then the girls they see because what the girls do makes them less then human. It’s bad enough we have to fight the stigma out there in the mainstream world (those of us that are able to be honest about what we do with the other people in our lives anyway), do we really have to fight it here also??

Wow, that lecture sure straightened everyone out! Let's make sure we all comply from here on out.

Although what you said is dead-on accurate.

Your thoughts can be summarized in two words: be respectful. I agree with you, and it is an important lesson that not all men are stand-up guys. Your post pretty much sums up why providers have to post on their website or add that they seek "upscale", "mature", and "classy" gentlemen...which are buzzwords meaning I want to meet a client who is sane, nice, and respectful and won't treat me like shit even though I'm selling my body. A provder can have several good clients/experiences, but it only takes one man to give a provider a horrible experience then quits the business!

From my personal view I don't understand the guys who act cocky and feel they're doing the girls a favor and god forbid if they feel slighted by an experience, they will go on and on about it and it starts to become slanderous.

I am a pragmatic person and I understand that the girls are doing us hobbyists a favor. We want to enjoy their bodies and we pay to enjoy it. If there wasn't any providers it will make us guys work our butts off just to be with a beautiful woman, and most guys in the real world wouldn't be able to get a stevie or a taylor  wane in real life if we weren't rockstars or millionaires....

Even when I have a negaitve or less than satisfying experience with a provider I keep my manners and post a neutral review and just write off the experience as YMMV and I leave it at that.

There are many people out there who are assholes.  Plain and simple.  I try to never be mean to anyone, and cetainly not to a provider who I think has a very difficult (how many of you guys would sleep with a woman with a gut and bad breath?) and demanding job.  But I know a lot of people - and I do mean a lot - who treat their nannies like shit, treat their employees like shit, treat the gardener like shit... etc.  They have a superiority complex and nothing any of us say is going to change that.  They're assholes.

lol...makes me glad i'm not from Philadelphia, considering philly is so close to New York and the living standard is expensive in the big apple you would think the NY culture would rub off on philly...guess it hasn't in terms of prices

The Philly guys are going to show no mercy.

Plus, she talks about a website link.  I must be going blind.  Also, no calls after 10 pm?  Well, problem solved since she didn't provide a phone number.

Can't wait til she visits Chicago! lol

Somewhere, right at this moment, someone is over-paying for some well-travelled pussy and she's laughing all the way to the bank. P.T. Barnum said it best.

A lot of the refined and upscale gentlemen around here couldn't hope to finance their hobbying if their careers required attention to spelling, grammar or syntax. Even just unlocking "Caps Lock" and typing in small case; capitalizing and emphasizing when they SHOULD would speak volumes of their refinement.

P.S. you should have capitalized "C" in
"check out the text in this girl's ad. EOM"

Did you mean to say "gentleman" or "gentlemen"? Why did you use a colon instead of a comma?

By the way, why do the words in "PeopleInGlassHouses" run together?

As for the moniker; the "field" allows only a finite number of characters so certain license is forced rather than flawed.

The providers are ADULTS who can stand up for themselves and have an opinion of their own. I think many of these women have possess a very strong character and can look after themselves and DO NOT NEED these "white knight" guys standing up for them constantly on this board and trying to criticize the other men.

Not everybody is nice and respectful on this board. That is NOT how the world and the internet work. Why does everybody always get bent out of shape when someone says something negative to a provider. I bet many of the providers think the men they see are pathetic and sub human also.

Millions of people in the world are suffering and people complain about some NEGATIVE words from random people on the internet. It all seems kind of trivial.

...that words effect women quite differently than they do men.  Especially when men are addressing women.  You might not like that fact.  It's true, and I could give you a very detailed socio-biological hypothesis on why it's true.
There is a much lower thresh-hold for insulting women than there is men, however you think it bears on equality.

Since I'd rather see providers who don't despise me just for being a client, because they associate clients with meannness.  I consider the etiquette toward them really important.

A million people suffering somewhere in the world is a different subject.  So, tell me now, what's wrong with being a white knight?

... and get more insulting when the lady doesn't do the "intelligent" thing they suggest.

It looks to me like some guys get incensed.  Guys pay these ladies more per hour than for any other professional, and they don't owe it back to any man.  It can make some guys feel-- small.
