As many small businesses have found lately the customer is "always" right. Especially if the customer is gay and wants you to bake them a cake or take their wedding pictures. In this day and age the term "we reserve the right to refuse service" is no longer valid because when you refuse service you are discriminating. Just ask the courts. I think it is a sham, but the legal precedent has been set. Of course your business has to be legal for that to apply.
You call the shots when it comes to this work. One of the many benefits of what we do is retain the ability to walk away from any situation we are not comfortable with.
If your employer tells you your customer is always right then..well....suck it up,... or not. Your choice.
As an indi sex worker you have a blank check to tell any customer to piss off.
You may lose a client as a result. If that happens you can always give yourself a warning and a good talkin' to---or, put yourself on a performance improvement plan....lol....or just move on.
... "The customer is always right in his/her own mind."
Which DOES apply to this field. As it does in every business. It doesn't mean you have to put up with Clients Behaving Badly. Restaurants, for example, reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Same concept applies to this business.
A t.e.r member contacted me. After some back and forth correspondence we ran into an issue and we agreed to disagree and cease further contact. Five minutes later I get a text asking for an apology because the customer is always right . Then he said I was a joke because I had 3 reviews.
It actually sounds kind of funny... attitudes and insults of that type make me think of a teenager on XBOX Live or something. It probably feels worse being on the receiving end, but perhaps you can laugh at off as a doofus being true to his calling.

And the best ladies in this biz have a strong customer focus too. Obviously this means suppressing one's own wants, preferences, and desires, in order to please the customer. Those who don't have this customer orientation won't be as successful.
