Overloaded Servers are a symptom of a problem, not the problem itself.
In this case, the problem is that the people who run switter have no idea how to host a scalable website. I have zero confidence that they'll be able to keep it together long-term, or that their security is generally worth a damn. That said, I'm on there, and I'm trying to extract some usefulness out of it. I won't touch the site with real information about me, or without a VPN for that matter.
