Well, Bandit, your idea is interesting in the proper scenario. Tape recorders or video cams won't work in an outcall situation because, assuming a bust goes down, an arrest is soon to follow and, of course, they inventory all of your possessions as part of the booking process.  Therefore, the chances of tapes being erased are pretty good.  Incall situations, however, could be different in that the provider has the knowledge and comfort of the whole scene being taped which affords her some means of protection against the frequent LE exaggerations or downright nondisclosures of what really occurred.  Getting these tapes into evidence, however, might be difficult since the recorded party (LE) had no knowledge or opportunity to consent to the recording, BUT, I'll still take my chance with the judge's discretion and, most importantly, there's an internal affairs or police commission hearing that would follow the trial regardless of the verdict.
