Interesting article on a journalist who took several escorts out on dates (no sex) and interviewed them.

Why? Because she wants to be a GF.  wow, good story, and perhaps done the right way.

I really don't get the part of the article where the author mentions Jeff Fischer and when he made out with a provider, it was disgusting.....

It wasn't the making out with providers that he found disgusting, it was the tasteless pictures the other author took of himself while doing it.

It has too much of the:  "Hey, who'd of ever thought that prostitutes could be like, real people?" attitude.

I suppose that might sell, but I don't like it.

This is also fluff journalism.  The reviews on this site, now there's real journalism.

I have to agree Mr Fisher something about it didn't set right with me either. It also seemed more like a creative writing assignment and not any kind of journalism.

More accurate perspective than most.  At least none of these providers were portrayed as drug addicts looking for a fix or illegals trying to make it in America.

......at first I just found it to be hysterical. I honestly don't think I can tell you when the last time that I literally 'laughed out loud' when reading something. But when I read the line about him feeling his chest tighten, well I couldn't help but laugh(out loud)!!!
I found the article as a whole very entertaining and in the end I was actually rather moved by it. Which is not at all something I expected....
