END OF MESSAGE

Wasn't there a prize given out here last fall for the 1,500,000th review? Or some other big number? Right now, there are only 312,929 reviews here. That number seems too high to account for just the providers listed in non-American cities, even with the recent "migration" by some American providers. And yet the number seems too low to represent a massive de-listing, given that most former users haven't figured out how to get back into this site.

This number seems to be simply pulled out of someone's ass

A review search with ZERO filters comes up with a number less than one tenth of the number TER presently claims.   I believe this number of 312,929 reviews about as much as I believed there were 70,000+ users online shortly after TER closed it's doors in the US.

On the positive side however, I have noticed a definite uptick in the number of posts being made today. It doesn't feel quite as dead around here as it has for the past several days, maybe more people are figuring out how to "move" to a more tolerant country than the US? lol

They appear to have laid off the "spam" filtering.

Last week it was taking me 6+ hours to have a post move from "new" to "active". I opened two tickets about it, but they just said they were "sorry" or closed it without comment.

Maybe they are discounting profiles with no ads or websites? With only 2,000 or so online I can’t imagi the providers who listed out of country and all reviews in other countries would ad up to 300k

And so many ladies couldn’t delist on the site, they could try by email to support I guess. But over 1mil?

Maybe TER has removed all reviews that are outdated, I can believe that.

the reviews of US based providers who have switched their location (as far as TER is concerned, that is.) to outside the US.

Just a hunch.

Are you counting reviews or providers?  You should multiply the number of providers by the average number of reviews a provider gets.  I believe a factor of about 15 reviews average per provider squares the two numbers.

Problem with his search is it only brings up reviews for those in the US. His search is set for reviews not profiles so it should count up all reviews for each profile. Funny thing is there are over 1600 pages. Which ads up to about 32k, maybe TER is inflating it by a factor of 10 LoL. If they are then the 2,000 shown online might only be 200 LoL

1648 pages of reviews adds up to 24,713 matches world wide, but the overwhelming majority of these women have way less than 15 reviews apiece. The numbers aren't even close with over 24,000 of the providers having 15 or less reviews and only a few hundred having over 15 reviews.

I don't know where TER is getting this number, but my guess stands that they simply pulled it out of someones ass.

Speaking of numbers that can't be backed up, or at least it would take much too much work to find the actual posts on the subject, but I remember back when  TER boasted over 1,500,000 reviews, the total number of providers that had been reviewed was somewhere north of 200,000 women, making the average closer to about 7 reviews per provider.
