How does one deal with losing one's former ATF due to a misunderstanding when a substitute provider of comparable traits cannot be found?  Any similar experiences from fellow hobbyists?

What was the mis-understanding?

It was an issue she blew out of proportion in order to justify her action when her business skyrocketed.

If you were THAT attached to your ATF then you're lucky it ended now.  Unless there was a real possibility for a long term relationship, then the longer it went on the more difficult it would have been to when it came to it's inevitable conclusion.

Maybe your ATF sensed you were getting too serious about her and wanted to end it?

I'm sure it's painful emotionally, but intellectually you should be able to recognize that it's for the best and get on with your life.

Although I truly understand your pain; Looking for a replica of your ATF is not the answer. It may not be the "same" as with your ATF but enjoy the variety and leave yourself open to it's own reward.

Call her back in a few months.

It looks like you should move on.  If she used some small thing to push you away when she got more business then she was only interested in your money to begin with.  Her actions are not bad, she was and is in it to make a living.  Some providers will value the first clients who place confidence in them and want to keep those clients near, even if that means giving up a few bucks, but your former ATF apparently is not one of those types. Take the advice of some of the rest of the respondents to your post, move on and enjoy the great variety out there.

My mind is trying to tell me exactly that, i.e., to move on, but my lust for that woman is still very strong.  She is quite good in bed as I discovered before any reviews of her were submitted, and all of her recent reviews graphically testify to that.  They become very tantalizing especially when she is no longer accessible.
