I myself have several massage places that I use as a plan B when needed. I would not review them and rate them an 9 or a 10 in performance for a second rate service.

The way the TER scoring works, if he was offered FS, and all the other services for her to score a 9, but the monger chose to only get a HJ, then he has the right to give her credit for it and thus a higher score.  Why should be provider be graded down if the client didn't want the service she was willing to provide?

Some providers know how to give really good hand job. I  had one provider give a hand that felt just as good then actually intercourse. It's all in the performance I guess.

However if a provider is getting scores higher then 7, it should raise a few eyebrows. I've had to give providers who should have gotten a 9 or 10 a 7, simply because they did not at least offer BBBJ, DFK, or GREEK. I've had mind blowing sex, with providers where everything had to be covered, and put on a great performance, but TER, told me I could only give them no higher then 7.

further thinking compels me to say any performance rating system that rates services offered rather than actual performance needs some adjustment. But I think we have certainly beat that subject to death.

Let me regroup:
If we want performance rating then we have to allow any performance to be eligible for the top rating.
If we want a services rating then we need a system that only rates based on services offered regardless of the quality.
I think most want a performance rating. The services could just be a list and we decide which service or services we want. Then we rate the provider on how well she performed what we received from her. Then we need to stop gripping about how can a HJ get a 10. A HJ is a service. The service can be rated. If it was a damn good HJ then it can get a 10.

I think I've said it correctly this time. ...and I am aware that what I've said here negates the last statement of my above post. That was not a completely objective statement.

what you say seems reasonable and sane to me. services performed should be separated from the quality of how those services are delivered: how satisfied the customer is. the performance ratings on TER mix two concepts that should, as you point out, be kept distinct.

the mixing of menu and skill renders the rating vague. that vagueness is bound to create misunderstanding and disatisfaction.

A rating system that combines scores and services offered (instead of "what were the services?" how well were the services rendered"?) is just wrong. Mathesar used to explain why that was a problem statistically back in the day.

I would rather it be handled like hotels- 3 star, 4 star, 5 star (meaning "more services offered"), and then ranking among the hotels.

I've been asking for the inclusion of TER Profile ID number in the review form (and auto-fill of the fields once selected) for a long time but this is another feature that can be implemented.

Set the maximum allowable rating to remain fixed at 7 UNLESS you actually adjust a field in the review that will increment it. If all relevant fields (tongue, bi, etc.) are "No" or even "Don't know", then the performance field maxes out at 7.

It would take a fair amount of programming but it's not impossible to do. If TER could implement those things (TER ID, auto-fill and max performance auto-increment) to work in a new submission form, I'd give it a 9, maybe even a 10!  As is, with no changes, it's a "4 - TER just laid there."
