connection Whole Foods and $1000/hr hookers, but I guess I'm just not getting it.  What am I missing?

Check out these prices. and fish, you might want to fast forward to number 9. lol

but honestly, is there no limit to how stupid people can be with their money?

Yes... but there is a huge but....

While some people are dumb with money, it turns out there weren't enough of them to make the Whole Foods business model successful, which is why Amazon was able to buy them so easily.

And Amazon will undoubtedly slash their prices, which is why the stock price of every other grocery chain got hammered after the announcement. To me, this says in the end, the market works. And while you can charge high prices for a while, and few maybe forever, by-and-large gravity will pull everything back to earth.

I still remember the first time I wandered into a Whole Foods store several years ago. My first thought was "this place is pretty nice" and then I saw the prices and thought "WTF???!!!" I don't think I bought a thing that day, and although I have been back to other locations since, I rarely buy more than a few items there for the exact same reason I don't see thousand dollar an hour hookers, it's not that I can't afford it, I just don't like feeling like a sucker, and paying Whole Foods prices makes me feel like a sucker.

If you can't make the connection between a small jar of honey priced at $79.99 and a hooker getting a thousand bucks an hour, I guess I can't help you.  Whole Foods in general is over priced, but the examples in my link are outrageous, even by Whole Food's standards.

Maybe those bees shaved their pussies just like the $1000 hooker.  If it's shaved pussy honey, it might be worth it to SOME people.

But I reserve white tablecloth restaurants and luxury food items for special occasions only. I can find excellent food and horny civie chicks at many of the local dive bars.

Prior to the announcement of Amazon buying whole foods you do know that Whole Foods lost significant market share because people could by some of the same organic products cheaper at Aldi and Walmart.   It is like Alex Rodriguez coming in with his draconian demands and the only buyer would be the Yankees.  So a hooker could have a price of 1,000/hr but if the market is soft or non existent then something has to yield as in this case as well.

I walked into my first Whole Foods store sometime in 2013. I walked back out with nothing in hand and never returned.

Starbucks, Chili's, Applebee's, I could go on are some of my work's accounts and I detest them. They want everything and want to pay nothing. Kinda like some of the guys here...

But in the same respect, we have accounts(above) that charge you up the ass and don't deliver like some of the ladies here...

That's what this forum is for.

I've asked guys what they really thought about certain girls, been asked myself whom I've seen, and recommended and have been recommended.

Any fool can read the weekly ads and see who's selling rib-eyes cheaper that week.

But it takes a 'society' that revolves around a certain lifestyle to look out for each other and not bullshit each other. Reviews and word of mouth and a mutual trust...

Tell me I'm wrong?
