I'm surprised how often providers ignore initial contactconfused_smile

As a businessman who's conscious of customer relations and cashflow, I have a hard time understanding how poorly many providers handle correspondence w/ clients and potential clients. When I contact a provider for the first time, about 60% will not reply even though I'm very polite, offer references, mention I'm flexible on day & time, etc. Even if they're busy that day, you'd think they'd call back to schedule for another day; otherwise, they've just turned away an interested buyer.

A related issue is follow-up afterwards. When I've paid well beyond the requested donation, or spent an hour crafting a great review for a provider, I really appreciate it when they send me a brief email to acknowledge it. Offering a white list referral would be much appreciated.

Since providers are lowering prices, and top notch gals are advertising more on BackPage & CV, I know they're hurting for biz. But 30 hours ago I sent an email to one such gal, and no word back. It doesn't take long to hit "reply" and type a brief msg like "thank you for your interest; I'm really busy today, but I'll f/u w/ you tomorrow".

For what it's worth, I'll mention that Amber Lane (phoenix) is the one gal who's always been fast to reply, and very quick to acknowledge the review I wrote.

I agree wholeheartedly. I actually made a post about this almost a week ago, but I dont think it got approved.

I understand people can get busy, and I understand that many providers get a boatload of men that flake out on them, but the thing is that most providers treat this as a business. And no matter how flakey your customers are, its never good business to not return communications with a customer. Even if all it is is a simple email saying "No, not interested right now." or "I'm really busy at the moment, but I got your email and I'll get back to you as soon as I can"

I dont think many providers realize the stress that honest, upstanding gentlemen go through of wondering "did she get my email?" "should I send another?" "is this a trap?" "did some reference say something bad about me?" or countless other things.

I've recently started a 2 day rule for myself because of this. If a potential provider won't get back to me within 2 days, I write her off and move on. Of course if she replies even a month later with an apology and a legit excuse, I'm happy to contact her again.

I have the same experience. I am going to repost it in essence by another heading so that the conversation may be continued at the top of the first page.

i'm having this issue right now and am confused.  this individual has great reviews and responded to my original schedule request through her site.  i've been trying to firm a time and have no response.  i'd love to see her but if she doesn't respond i guess i'll just have to put this down to lessons learned and move on.
