The discussion board glitches that I mentioned in the OP below makes the new versions of the boards unreadable to me. Until those glitches are fixed, I'll stick with classic view .

try maneuvering through the new site with your schwinger in someones mouth. Should take the sting out of the 'newness' your obviously upset about.

Now that, in the new format, a thread is bumped to the top -- or supposed to anyway -- whenever that is a new post, an user staying in the Classical format will miss some new posts in an old thread.
