one hour tops..anything more and tedium sets in..driving for hours on end dulls the anticipation..

...meet a provider? What's the farthest you have or would drive to see a provider? Most men I see are local or in town on business but i had someone drive to see me this morning and I must say that I was incredibly flattered Needless to say I am very certain he drove back with a huge smile on his face. Lol.

Depends on each guys situation, financially, home life, job, etc.  Right now I can't travel more than an hour or two.  Just at a point in my life that I have too many commitments where I live.

But once my kids are grown and I semi-retire, I plan on going anywhere I want to to see a provider!

Up to 2hrs so I have

probably 1.25 hr.  It was easier to get to her with an earlier work schedule but I still see her when I can.  That said, I bring meal fixings & we prepare a nice lunch which we share...  so OTC about equals the compensated time.  Actually, the compensation was originally for a slightly longer session & has not changed...  but play time has become more efficient as she knows just how to push my buttons.

My next Fav is still slightly over 1 hour.

I find it best not to hobby in my small town or within my normal traffic circle.

in the Boston area, and several times a year I drive the 3.5 - 4 hours to see gals in NYC.

I also fly out to Chicago or even the west coast to see someone, but of course I spend at least a night with the person in that case.

Since I reside in San Diego, CA they can pay to have me drive to them, or they can come to me and I am always flattered when a man spends more time in the car, than he does with me!

... but she's worth it...

Having once driven 3-1/2 hours for a NCNS, once I was about to drive 2 hrs but got no confirmation or communication day-of after several confirming emails (she later said she forgot), having two NCNS's while on the road, two last minute cancellations after a 2 hr drive, etc., etc., I stay as local as possible.    Even locally I once drove 45 minutes for nothing since the provider said she thought it was for 4pm when we had several emails confirming 2pm.  I had to be somewhere at 4 pm so I couldn't wait around for two hours.  I had to blow it off and drive back home.   One thing i will mention is that in every case the provider was on the young side so perhaps there's something in that.  

If I'm in an area for another purpose I may try to connect but I no longer do long drives for the sole purpose of hobbying after way too much bad luck.

Hi, all.  New to this board but not to the hobby.  I'm fortunate to live about an hour from NYC, so I never have to go further than that.  Lots of providers tour to the smaller cities near me, so often I don't need to drive more than a half hour.  It's rare now that I'll go all the way to NYC.  The only long-distance travel I'd do is to meet some friends of mine in Las Vegas for a few days of partying.  I'm hoping to do that early next year.

When I was 18 I drove with friends from Berkeley to the Mustang Ranch in Sparks Nevada in the winter without a heater over the Sierra Nevadas.

I will travel from Cleveland to see you. I have traveled to see my ATF each time I've seen her because she doesn't tour in Cleveland. If I don't get to see you during the holidays I will travel to see you in the new year.

Since I don't live in a city, there are no providers in my rural area. I alwasy drive at least 30 minutes and sometimes more. Even for outcalls, since I don't do outcalls at my house, I need to get a hotel and the nearest hotel is 30 minutes from me. I have also flown to see providers and flown providers to see me.

about 120 miles.  Only done it once, and not really in a hurry to do it again, unless it's for an overnight date.  This one could have been, but circumstances prohibited it.  I have more than an ample amount of providers closer to me, so I do not have to do that often.  However, because of how spread out my area is, I generally have to drive at least half an hour to see anyone.

I have flown east to west coast for a very special lady.

to include other business or social meetings either along the way or in the city of her incall.

Locally, under 90 mins drive time which covers most of the popular areas where both local and visiting providers like to stay.  Although those drive times can double depending on traffic and the weather.

I've also flown from Chicago to Vegas and/or Reno to see some of my favorites, but I usually do that when I'm on vacation or if I'm in the area on business.
