If you're going to try to dodge this bullet go all the way and blame her. Tell her SHE must have given it to YOU, because you were clean but her wife's gyno checkup showed she has an STD. Maybe she'll be so remorseful, she'll offer to bring her hot cousin to your next OTC BBFS session. That is, after the itching, burning and/or blisters go away.

My major issue is you being  a cowardly little cunt who is coming on here asking about how to protect yourself from this hookers wrath when what you should be doing is telling her that she is at risk before she gives whatever you gave her to someone else.

Get a copy of your misses STD report and take it to the other lady.  Then the blame could be on the 3rd party.  Strange the other lady wasn't using what they call "safe sex".

Yes. The marriage is fucked up beyond repair.  Based on phone call with my attorney, the only silver lining re her positive test is that it likely will be enough to break the prenup.  I got some good advice from Richy (see above) to just share my wife’s results with my friend.  Minor issue is that she was under the impression my wife and had already separated.  But I realize now, after taking in some of these helpful and not so helpful comments, that at the end of the day, the most important thing is that she knows.

How about a heads up as to what area this happened in? Not that this helps a lot... with girls who tour, and clients who travel to multiple cities, but still.
And the delay in informing her just multiplies the potential risk to others. You don't have to partake in BBFS to be at risk here... any inadvertent touch is all it takes to transmit. And what STD? You want advice, but you're hanging a lot of people out to dry potentially.

Why on earth would you have unprotected activities with a provider??? You see someone who tells you she is having unprotected sex with a few others and you still go uncovered at home? This is why diseases spread. GROSS!!

You are right, it was incredibly risky.  The provider was having unprotected sex with a select few TESTED clients.  Unfortunately, it was my wife who was having unprotected sex with an untested lover.  This doesn’t excuse my indiscretion.  Going forward, our sexual practices will be changing. My marital status will be changing. My relationship with my ATF will be changing.  That said, to your point, the idea of that many people interconnected by unprotected sex is indeed gross.

You are putting so many more people and lives at risk by keeping quiet. You should have called her that very moment and made the situation clear. If you have any concern for her at all. You mentioned she sees other people bbfs chances are they have SOs and lives. This couldn't just blow up in your face but blow up other peoples worlds the longer it goes on. You NEVER know what is really going on with other people. Even if you have clean lab results doesn't mean you are clean it doesn't always show up right away so unless both people abstain from any and all activity for 4 weeks before a test the test is not 100% accurate. As annoying as protection is it is a necessary thing in this day in age.

You made excellent points there. The arrangement was irresponsible and the practices were beyond risky.  BBFS with a limited number of tested partners does not equal safe sex.  I get it.  I’ve learned a lesson.  Actually, several lessons.  My friend has learned a lesson.
I see you took issue with me all capping “tested”.  The only thing in your reply that I take issue with is using quotes when referring to my friend.  There is no need for me to put that word in quotes because she is my friend.  In fact, she’s more than a friend to me.
