END OF MESSAGE

This post will get me strung up, but honesty is important, factual honesty, intellectual honesty, and genital honesty.
I spent a summer in the Sierras near Carson City once, doing photography and fitness stuff, hiking, climbing. I love everything about Yosemite except the crowds, and I love the aspen trees, awesome waterfalls, and saphire lakes, although they do not have tasty breasts.
I've spent a few months in Vegas too, yakking at conventions to ob/gyns who were getting CME vouchers stamped and trying to get as much strange as possible before going home to Scarsdale or Bev Hills to boring fat wives wearing pink plastic curlers who never suck on anything bigger than a straw with a milkshake at the other end. The vixens at the bars in Caesar's Palace in the 70s were very hot and would do everything all night for a Ben.
The best sex in Nevada is with the numerous ultra hot vixens in Las Vegas, not in the trailers outside of Carson City.
Use the TER reviews to find the best. I have a personal list of a dozen.
Brothels in Nevada were hot in the 1960s and 1970s. But that was 30 years ago.
The brothel owners should have built great bordello mansions, faux Victorian even, but instead lazily settled into compounds of manufactured trailers. Yes, f**kin trailers. Trashy looking trailers, surrounded by barbed wire like a friggin concentration camp. They make enough $$ to build mansion spas with pools, gardens, the works, but instead they are lazy and have tacky trailers.
Sex is perfectly legal in the cold trailers of the brothels of Nevada, but it is not sexy, not romantic, and is badly overpriced. I remember my handful of visits in the same way as visits to the doc for a prostate exam, or to the dentist. The lineups remind me of Burger King, not Wendys. The sex was cold and methodical.
I'd rather see any one of a dozen independents in Vegas and have a night on the town with music, dancing, dinner, wine, and a wild f**k in the jacuzi at Caesars or any other of a dozen great hotels.
This TER prize should have an optional alternative, like $1500 to your favorite vixen in Reno or Vegas. The Bunny dude should pay it for all of the free advertising he got today already! Then you can have one hell of a great time, and not be imprisoned in some trailer compound.
The owner of Bunny Ranch and all of the other owners of thirty other brothels in Nevada need to build some fine classy resorts, without wheels. IMHO. Putting greens, pools, vixens in bikinis, lingerie shows. How about some imagination guys!! You could have a resort with tennis courts, a par 3 golf setup, a fitness spa where a guy could get in shape for a week, etc, etc.
Instead you have trailers, the ultimate in tackiness, that repulses thousands and thousands of men who could afford so much better.
What would Jesus do? He would build nice little Victorian mansions with several wings, a golf course, a deli, a bagel factory, kosher kitchens, a law library, an accountant's office, a training center against terrorism, a computer training center, an extension offering MBAs, and most of all a great teaching center where fat Jewish wives could be taught to give BBJTEOKUs every week to their hard working husbands. LOL.
Buddha would do something similar with Ukrainian women. LOL
(I knew that but was sleepy!)

Schlong,
Do you mind if I call you Schlong? I appreciate the history and geography lesson, as well as your narrative.

I've been to the Carson City concentration camps. They are indeed everything you've said and worse. They charge top dollar and run you through like cattle being branded. Or bunny's in this case, which is why they call it a ranch. I agree with you on the alternative offering. Obviously TER has made a deal with the BunnyRanch, most likely the ranch approached TER and is picking up their own tab.

But the operable word is FREE. No way to pass it up.

Interesting contest. How is prostitution legal there but not all over the US?

Most criminal matters are an issue of state law in the US.  There are some crimes that can be prosecuted on a federal level.  These usually relate to issues specifically spelled out or protected by the Constitution, or matters involving activities across state lines.

So, for example, sex with a minor is generally a matter for state law.  Transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of having sex with her is a matter for federal law.

MisterG

During the industrialization of the U.S. Nevada remained basically undeveloped since it was primarily a desolate desert, offering no natural resources on which to build industry and technology. By the time other states were beginning to outlaw prostitution and gambling, Nevada was so far behind in development that nobody bothered to make the changes.

Organized crime moved in to take advantage of the lax legal structure and built an empire of gambling, prostitution and whatever other vise commodities they could think of.

At this stage the entire Nevada economy is based on these activities and the State is wealthy from all the taxes and licenses. So now they will never change it. Over the years, prostitution in Nevada has been sequestered into smaller areas. Prostitution is not legal in the city of Reno, for example. That's why all the brothels are in the outlying towns.

Frankly, I'm surprised that other States haven't followed Nevada in, once again, legalizing prostitution and gambling for the sake of getting their hands into all the money.

Unfortunately fundamentalist politicians use the Nevada brothels as an example when arguing against legalization. These places are so run down and destitute and they're pointed out, saying "we don't want places like this cropping up in our State!"

The truth is that in other States, like California for example, patrons would never stand for the high rates, sub-standard service and disgusting facilities found in Nevada. Capitalism would ensure nice operations like what was mentioned in Beverly Hills. (though I'm not familiar with that place)

On the other side, Nevada lobbyist work hard in other States against legalizing prostitution because they don't want to lose their monopoly. So with fundamentalists, organized crime, gambling empires and State governments all working to keep prostitution illegal throughout the country, it's really a no win if your on the legalization side of the debate.

Did I answer your question?

the sake of the future in Nevada.
Hell, it's legal there, but totally unappealing.
The owners need to understand marketing and progress and improving the business environment.
The NV brothel business now is like cheap moonshine.
The owners need to think Perrier Jouet!

From the fine cellars of an octogenarian here in Southern Appalachia.  I gave some to my mother because I thought she would get a kick out of it.  And now... I can't keep up with the demand of her bridge club...

I wanna be bad at 65.
Love,
Anne

Just wanted to drop in a quick note that I echo the sentiments of The Lost Schlong.

The Neveda brothels could learn a thing or two from the Beverly Hills Bordello.   Build a beautiful mansion, with plenty of green grass, plam trees, and bushes of roses.  Create an ambiance that is romantic, sensual, erotic, and relaxed -- pools, hot tubs, jacuzzis, etc.  Now work of getting the prices to be affordable.  And most importantly, maintain a high standard for the providers (looks, attitude, health, etc).

Don't give me this sad story that the brothel owners are broke, and barely making it ;-(.  I simply don't buy that crap.  Most people wouldn't either.  Look at what Amsterdam has done ...

Now, Mr. Schlong, I wanted to help clarify another myth.  Buddha was an Indian prince.   He founded Buddhism, and the key tenanets od this religion derives their roots from Hinduism.  LOL ;-).

That and a life subscription to Trailer Life would make it a better package. LOL

Lustman, I have no interest in this at all. Now give me a freebie with one of the L.A. beauties and I am there. There is one in particular that I am thinking of.
